I just think it's crazy how polarizing everything is.
Why TF are vaccines a left vs right issue? If you told me 3 years ago that there would be a worldwide pandemic but we would use state of the art medicine to develop a vaccine in less than 1 year I'd be ecstatic and assume everyone would want it. Look what vaccines did to polio and smallpox, it used to be just the Jenny McCarthy autism idiots against vaccines. Now suddenly it's red vs blue.
Or this Kyle Rittenhouse dude who got chased down and attacked by several people on video. Literally in the courtroom the guy who got shot in the arm admits Rittenhouse didn't fire when his arms were up but then Rittenhouse fired when the guy pointed his gun at Rittenhouse. It's clear as day self defense. And somehow it's a left vs right thing.
I don't get it. What has become of us?
vaccines arent a left vs right issue. mandates are. mandates ultimately mean the rights of the individuum are less important than the considerations whats best for society. this balance exists on nearly all issues. its fine to have either opinion really. there isnt a right or wrong, its just about what kind of society and life you want.
same with kyle. anyone sane new this is a self defence case according to the law. the left wishes the laws would be different and tries to change this by making people angry enough to pressure lawmakers. of course others dont want laws to change but prefer status quo or more liberal gun laws.
And in the middle is the media making money.
