I"ve never heard of Annie Frisbie. 2019 she didn't even make NCAAs in the 10,000.
She was 34th in xc in 2018 for Iowa State.
Her college pb for 10k was 32:58. She ran 31:55 in September in a road race. Wow she's improved a lot.

This wheelchair racer is just coasting. Can anyone do the wheelchair race? Will they check to make sure you are disabled?

Darn it, I wish I started my stop watch at the start, these clowns have no running clock on the screen, so we cannot tell what pace they are running at all.
ALWAYS start your watch when viewing these road races!
Remember when Augustine Choge beat Mottram at Commonwealths in 2006?
Really impressive longevity.
I'm watching the coverage live on ABC7. When they actually cover the men's and women's races it's not terrible. Deena Kastor is pretty good but Bernard Lagat is pretty bad.
"You know what's waiting for her? The tape."
i threw up a little.
Any Brits on here? Who is broadcasting it for you? I may try to switch over.

Yeah, back when she was a Cyclone we used to call her 'The Ultimate.'
I just spoke to the guys in the booth, and they will show more running in the last half of coverage. They are front loading ads and feel good stories. They also figured people would tune in an hour late due to day light savings…..🙄
not able to watch.
How is Bekele looking so far?
Where's Ben?

Watching on eurosport seems ok, they mostly show screen split into women and men race. Much better in terms of commercials obviously.

Good. But also the Daylight Savings things make no sense. Shouldnt we tune in an hour earlier?

Anyone notice how most of the runners in teh NYC marathon promo on ESPN were black. I'm all for making m inorities feel welcome in the world but it's getting kind of funny. What percent of the runners are black?
I'll guess 83.333% of the Men's & Women's podium is black. What do you think? More? Less?
