This is what happens when you leave it up Brits to handle their own business.
Don't expect us to come bail you out like WWI or WWII.
All our geezers are senile and lazy.

Or maybe things happen in the real world not just on lets run.
I do think that the yanks' handling of Kip Litton, Mike Rossi, and Rob Young were far better than our handling of Reading. There's been a lot of talk , but no action.
That's because Yanks shoot first and ask questions later.
Really? He didn't make it far enough for boots on the ground, let's face it he even abandoned going for the record before he started. It has been less than a week since he stopped. Bit early to call that less effective. Btw, we are all aware there was no emergency, the drivers wife called him home because of things she heard from various sources, not Lets Run?

Well, you don't know what has happened in terms of contacting VLM and media outlets. It is a bit farcical to compare to the Rob Young situation as he kept going long enough to be caught in the act then tracked as he was maintaining that he was legit, Dave wisely quit before he could be tracked.
Litton - well other than talk about tracking him at a Marathon that he switched to the half for once he knew about it, nothing actually happened in terms of the fabled "boots on the ground", the huge difference with Litton is just how much there was to uncover because of the sheer number of events he cheated at and how much race evidence there was online.
Rossi - The number one difference is that the Brojos got involved early on, given that Dave is not in the USA, the "record attempt" was over as soon as it began and an internet scorched earth campaign was waged by the protagonists the only way this goes anywhere here is if the insiders come on this forum and tell the truth.
VLM should DQ him for 2016 but as we've all passed a lot of water since then, they may not think it worth their hassle.
Hell, some of you Brits still consider Rob Young a hero even after we destroyed his rep when he came over to our soil and tried the crap that he did in Britain.
"Oh, unfortunate series of events, chap. Have a bit more blood pudding. That will get you running again, bloke. Cheerio and all that.
Please.

Americans would never stoop to hero worshipping someone who has been thoroughly discredited though would they?
I'm guessing Lance has zero fans over there these days?

You're right. Pretty much none. Ask around here.

In fairness the UK ultrarunning facebook group I looked at seemed to be almost entirely populated by morons, nationalistic opinions are pointless in the face of such utter stupidity.
The way I look at it is a weakness of character to not accept that someone from your country has behaved in a way that rightly deserves criticism, it doesn't matter if this is done by a troll. If they seek to tar an entire country the same way then they are just trying to get a reaction which is best ignored.
Oh do feck off. I post on the URC forum the vast majority think he is a cheat, and are critical, but they don't like the vitriolic abuse that people here think is not just ok, but necessary, or else you are seen as some way not wanting someone criticised. The idea that there a loads of Brita still supporting him is utter nonsense.

Yes they should, AND boot him out for this year.
Keep sending them the missing split times. They open facebook messages.
Make it clear he obtained 5 grand for cheating there, that appears to have gone awol

That Ultrarunning Community group is a joke.
Yes, you do post on it and "out" the likes of Rob and Dave - and you are generally ignored. No one is listening to you, they are only interested in fawning over the self appointed running gods.
James Adams mentions he has a blister and 400 sheep all tick "like". Its pathetic.
And as for one of the new admins Gary Kierman, he's like an over excited five year old who's just been made milk monitor.
The whole place is full of twits who put newcomers down, or newcomers asking questions that the twits deem boring, so they get sneered at
Wow, don't recognise that description at all.
They seem like a fun bunch, I think I'll stick with the LR vitriol, trolls, sleuths, fückwits, morans, truth seekers, dickheads, gobshites, simpletons, etc, etc, etc.
