Athletes like Bishop need to speak out if they want to save women's sport. Otherwise, more and more athletes of Semenya's ilk are going to feel comfortable competing in the women's division without undergoing any kind of hormonal treatment. Once one intersex athlete begins to dominate an event, other intersexed athletes are more likely to follow, as has happened in the women's 800m. Semenya is the lightning rod that takes the focus off of the others and perhaps athletes like Wambui feel that it is more morally justified for herself to compete in that division since Semenya is already doing it, whilst making good money.
Do you remember the Christian bakery that received a large fine for refusing to bake a gay wedding cake? Thanks to crowd-funding, I seem to recall that they received more than 10 times what they were fined from random donations. For the record, I'm not anti-gay, although I am fairly libertarian and believe that private businesses have the right to refuse service. Individuals also have the right to band together and boycott those businesses if they don't agree with their policies.
This is actually a great opportunity for an athlete like Bishop to stand up against the SJW idiots. She doesn't realize just how many people out there are sick and tired of their crap. If she were to lose a sponsor or two, I would advise her to email The Rebel media group. They would run with her story, guaranteed, and would probably help her find new sponsors.
