Coburn has greatly cut the distance to Ayalew.
She challenged Ayalew at 300 today. It will be a great day when Emma can hold the Ethiopians off. They do zero work until the last lap.

Felix and Okgabare beaten by some Dutch woman.

Her name is Daphne Schippers and she has been on fire all season
When I copy & paste results, they go all over the page. How do people post them so neatly.

Coburn has the best & most progressive strategy.
It is awesome to watch her, relaxed and fearless.
I think she will beat Ayalew very soon.
David Rudisha is such a majestic looking runner.
Rudisha just dominated, ran 1:43.35 all by himself, probably won by 2-3 seconds.
How can he run 1:43 and not be out of breath?
twee records vandaag. 11:03/22:34 uitstekend.
Rudisha won by 2-3 seconds?!? .... What happened to centro?

Centro ran well. Came 4th in 1:46.12.
Considering this race was a pretty cautious one for everyone involved (Rudisha being ~1 second off the rabbit, coming through 400m in ~51.0 if the announcers are to be trusted, and the rest of the field ~1 second off Rusdisha), I would say this was a strong race for Centro. It wasn't a PR, but to my eye it suggests 800m fitness roughly equal to his current 800m PR. The obvious hope is that this translates into something special at Monaco--but it'd also be nice to see him throw down a fast 800m or two later on in the season.

Ayalew has been on fire. I think she is the best runner now, better than Sophia.
Emma is a new revelation. She will probably win a race this season or next. The women's steeple is getting quite interesting.
How about that Bahamian 100m sprinter with dreads? Fast!

It's cool that in Britain they don't just tear down stadiums like we do here. Atlanta 1996 think will be RIP soon.

She already did win a race this season.
What's so impressive about Ayalew is her form was terrible over the obstacles, she doesn't seem to train much for the hurdles and water jumps and yet she still wins comfortably.
Ajee has the confident look of a champion.
Schippers also won the 100m B race with a time that would have put her a close 2nd in the A race. Two Dutch NR's
The way she is running she may want to dump the hep
