That was back when you guys had 3 footlocker finalist and did nothing at the national meet. And finishing 2nd at the conference meet doesn't mean you won it. You lost to Arkansas like everyone else. Only Alabama has won it since Arkansas showed up and they are about to do it two years in a row. By the way how did Tim Broe only win one NCAA title at Alabama? Great coaching going on there before Joe Walker...
Oh, whatever. I called you on your bullshit hyperbole, so now you decide to slam our accomplishments (which you claimed were non-existent). It's stupid to compare teams like this, but I'd just like to point out that Joe's team of Kenyans beat an Arkansas team that was inferior to Arkansas teams of the past. How many times did they beat Arkansas when McDonnell and his best athletes were there? Zero. Just like their predecessors at Alabama.
At any rate, you're the one who started the pointless comparisons. I never disputed that Walker had some success with his Kenyans. I criticized the MANNER in which he achieved that success--something that I see you are either unwilling or unable to defend. That's because doing business the way Joe Walker does (and that's the only thing it is to him) is disgraceful, and nearly *everyone* thinks so. Ask people at the NCAA meet what they think about Alabama, and they will invariably snort, laugh, or shake their head. Outside of people associated with the program's 'success,' it's a laughingstock. When even the alumni are washing their hands of it, something's badly wrong.
