I've never seen Lyles so lacking in power over the last 100, his form went to pieces over the last 30. Shame for him but Tebogo is a worthy winner in 19.46, and it's good to see a sprint gold go to another country
So embarrassing that our media is refusing to report on what’s going on with Noah and then spin a narrative of a straight up upset
Even if Lyles was 100% Teboho clearly had too much. Running 19:45 while celebrating 50m out? He should have run 19:20 or lower - no way Lyles was matching that.

This. Tebogo was the clear winner. Even healthy, Lyles wasn't going to get gold in the 200m. Was a great race.
Raise your hand if you would have predicted only one Caribbean runner in the 200m final, but TWO Caribbean throwers sitting atop the javelin standings.
Javelin has been really interesting the past few years with Kenya, and India, and Caribbean nations entering the fray

Yeah man and Bolt would’ve ran 8.50 if he didn’t ease up in Beijing
I believe that Lyles is sick, but I also think he's really trying to emphasize it now that he lost
yeah all that hopping around before getting in the blocks didn’t really seem so sick to me. sucks that people are already watering down tebogo’s win with the lyles sickness thing
