NAU's Cael Grotenhuis with a passive PB. quietly having a really solid season for NAU after struggling with injuries. bodes well for next year, especially considering how many top XC runners NAU looses.
Right, if 23 year old Alex Phillip or 23 year old Alex Maier had won it would be GREAT, but an East African running fast at “20 years old?” No freaking chance, we all know only white American kids like Nico and Parker Wolfe can run that fast at that age. That’s why no East Africans are competitive at the senior levels either, all washed up age cheats.

While Habtom Samuel may be 20, the notion of East Africans cheating is very spot on with all the busts that have happened recently…remember these athletes hardly get tested.
Any athlete from a poor country is suspect due to the morals a lot are forced to live with.
I say this from experience on a college team with internationals. There’s nothing you can do except like today, have only ONE American achieve first team all American status. Sad.

I definitely agree with how it is a little skewed. I also run on a team with primarily internationals, but I would disagree that international athletes are more likely to be doping. They get tested just as much as the Americans on the team (and while it isn’t much, it does follow ncaa standards. I would actually say that some of my international teammates got tested more than I did. It’s purely luck if the draw). My issue is that the majority of people are complaining solely about the recruits of specifically Africa. I do understand that the NCAA is in America, but the program provides resources, education, and overall many more opportunities to those that wouldn’t have it otherwise.
Upper deck on the finishing side essentially empty. Not finals so maybe normal but even in Eugene, still few folks seem to care.
Obviously the arena is much much smaller, but the indoor champs in Boston was FULL for both the prelims and finals, with secondary market tickets selling for hundreds. (Which I paid for!)
I think there are way more people interested in going if the meet is actually in a place people can get to.

Is that the reason why the LA grand prix is sold out every year?
You are complete idiot and have no idea what you are talking about. Rheinhardt Harrison received Epstein Barr Virus test results last night and they are >160. A normal reading is <43. If he were healthy, he would be running much faster and would not be hanging out at the back of the race. He is seeing an infectious disease doctor to figure out what is wrong with his immune system. Please don't post your negative comments if you don't know the facts!
-Again, he always races that way, not just tonight
-Again, he closed faster than 5 of the 7 auto-Qs ahead of him and clocked a small PB, so he wasn’t ailing too much and may have qualified had he been in better positron
-It’s interesting to look at your previous posts under that username, all 14 of which are related to Rheinhardt Harrison, most recently from August 2020…so my calling him a dumb racer isn’t an emotional response, but your calling me a complete idiot surely is!
id·i·ot ˈi-dē-ət : a foolish or stupid person
yes…you are an idiot because you are extremely foolish in saying “he always races that way.” I know he always ran from the front in high school. However, he has been struggling with the Epstein Barr Virus for the past 15 months which has resulted in recurring mononucleosis three times. It’s a terrible illness he is facing and it disturbs me that you are so ingnorant that you don’t care to realize how he can’t even train at the same level as he did in high school because his body can’t handle it right now.
This is not a personal attack…it’s just a fact that you don’t know why he is running at the back of the pack. He does this because he isn’t fit enough to run at the front. It is people like you that give Letsrun a bad image. As his father, I know the repeated setbacks and depression he has faced over the past year because his body isn’t able to respond. This isn’t a joke. Please stop the nonsense and stop the idiotic posts against Rheinhardt!
