So, were right wingers extorting, shaking down and using Mafia tactics against Bud light, or were they just exercising their rights as a consumer?
You're expecting him to admit to his own hypocrisy - not going to happen.
I can’t blame you for not reading every single post, but in his defense (no, really) he has a coherent answer for that. In his view of corporations (as opposed to people) doing this, one might wonder what he thinks of Citizens United. Regardless of his answer in that, the fallback is the idea that the withholding of ad revenue is coordinated. You may disagree with how well established that point is or how deep a problem if true, but at least it’s an argument with way more thought behind it than you might have noticed initially.

I don't think Musk is much of a principled guy. He's more the type things are right if they favor me and wrong if they're against me. He's the richest autistic child in the world.
That's the most nearly perfect post I have ever seen.
"woke" - check
"Marxist" - check
"leftist" - check
"hate America" - check
"hate freedom" - check
"Dem controlled narratives" - check
Maybe you could have thrown a "sheeple" or two in there - but dang, that was a great post!
Honestly, the post by TMADDDHASFNE is very close to accurate, except the stuff about the Democratic Party. It's more accurate to refer to "The Party," which is made up of Democrats and Republicans, both of whom are bankrolled by corporate interests.
All of our major knowledge-producing institutions (education, journalism, science) have adopted ideas that can be traced to Marxism. There are many problems with Marxist-derived ideas, but the most important one is that it allows a small group of people to consolidate power (the philosopher kings who have the magic recipe for utopia), and it does so by chipping away at liberal ideas and institutions. Liberal ideas and institutions are meant to prevent power grabs.
At the same time, our government, which has been run by neoliberal war mongers for decades, has found a way to thread "progressive" ideas into their efforts to keep the military industrial complex lucrative. Don't think it's a good idea to bankroll the war in Ukraine? You're a Russian asset and a shill for Putin! Were you opposed to shutting down small businesses across the country during the pandemic while Jeff Bezos got much, much richer? You're a grandma-killing conspiracy theorist.
Elon isn't a perfect man, of course, but he was beloved by the media until he started disagreeing with the uniparty. The whole thing magnified when he bought Twitter. This insane , totalitarian idea that free speech is a right-wing value took hold, and Elon publicly opposed it. The fact that people can't identify an obvious propaganda campaign is baffling to me.
It's not that I am laughing with you. I am laughing AT you.
But I’d say his assertion that “The public still wants X” (more or less true) fails to recognize that the public seems to want it much less now than they did pre-Musk, that was the source of numerous problems for X (including ad revenue) prior to the current flap, and it arguably is one of the features that grants leverage to a company like Disney in its current decision making.

Lol. The public wants X far more than they do heavily-censored, left wing (but I repeat myself) "Threads."
The divergence between what the ruling class wants and what the public wants shows that our leaders do not have our best interests in mind. The public wants social media freedom and a secure southern border. The ruling class wants the opposite of both.
Does anybody have the list of companies which are blackmailing X?
None of them. No companies are blackmailing X.
(Blackmail, I should point out, is a crime)
The lawsuit was just filed against Media Matters in the Northern District of Texas, which has ten Republican-appointed judges and one Clinton judge. The case would appeal to the heavily-Republican 5th Circuit. Grab your popcorn.
Texas AG Ken Paxton launched his own investigation as well.

I’m pretty sure my point was that user interest and satisfaction with pre-Musk Twitter was higher than they are with current X.
Dude, you must have been really angry at the guys gleefully posting “Go woke, go broke” about Target and Bud Light.
That was from the ground up reaction to the Bud Light ads.
Not a top down attack.
The public stopped buying the product.
The public still wants X. It is being attacked by organizations
There were many right wing influencers actively fanning the flames of the Bud Light boycott.
I don't care about Bud Light, and I don't care about the fate of X. People who want to support, can support. People that want to avoid because of content or behavior of owners are free to do so, regardless of where and how they get their information.
I don't think Elon understands what business he is in. X is in the business of selling advertising, just like Tesla is in the business of selling cars. It's no different than ABC, CBS, Fox, NBC, the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, etc. which also exist as businesses primarily to sell advertising (with subscription fees a greater or smaller part of the mix). As long as Tesla's stock price stays up, Elon can afford to subsidize X as a way for him to distribute pearls of wisdom to his disciples, but I don't see why advertisers would want to given the much larger and focused opportunities for online advertising through Google and Meta.
Maybe it's time for Elon to put X behind a paywall, and see if "the Earth" values X enough to pay a monthly subscription fee for it.
He is 20% of all GOP congress persons this century?
He GOP speakers, not "congress persons".
Let's list them: Hastert, Boehner, Ryan, McCarthy, Johnson. If one of them is a pedo that is 1 out of 5, or 20%. Maybe basic math is a problem for you.
I believe he’s stated in the past that he is on the spectrum so perhaps he misses certain social cues but the last two years have proven he doesn’t have the wherewithal or temperament to run a business let alone two. He’s a visionary no doubt but lacks the managerial qualities necessary to navigate difficult terrain. Oh—he’s also cultivated a cult of personality from the canard that he is a free speech “absolutist” even though he’s known to stifle speech he himself disagrees with.
"He’s a visionary no doubt but lacks the managerial qualities necessary to navigate difficult terrain."
This is incorrect. As someone in commercial space, I can tell you that what Elon has done is extraordinary. Other proven extraordinary managers like Bezos have tried their hand and failed by comparison. Without Musk, there is no successful commercial space movement. And while I hope / expect SpaceX to have true competitors in the future, those competitors are populated and led by ex-SpaceX engineers.
I know a lot less about electric cars than I do about rockets, but from where I sit, it looks like he did something extraordinary there as well.
Yes, he's doing a terrible job managing twitter. The politically-correct suck-ups were probably doing a better job making Twitter profitable. Personally, I think X / Twitter and other similar social media are a cancer on our society.
But if you want a great leader who can actually deal with the intractable challenges that physics levies, Elon is your guy. Even if he never does a single positive thing again, he will still rightly be remembered in history as an extraordinary engineering leader.
Lol at libs shilling for large corporations that don't fEeL sAfE posting on Twitter
Its bidness.
You don't seem to uNdeRstanD that
Got to love conservatives who live in a world where being openly antisemantic and racist is consider a good thing. Most people aren’t stuck in the 50s..
