I know the 400 hurdles is her first love but outdoors she has to get the 400 and 800 records.
Make them clean records.
If anyone gets those records - and it won’t be easy - it will be SML in the 400 and Mu in the 800. They will team up with Abby Steiner and Britton Wilson and take down that 4 x 400 record as well. Team USA baby!!!

Femke has 2 WRs
SML only has one
One of the records is the 500m indoors. Not sure why that is even a thing - what’s next - the 900 meter run, the 270 meter hurdles??
Sydney has broken an outdoor world record 4 times.
Bol has never broken an outdoor world record.
Stats are a funny thing. Everyone can find a stat that suits the narrative they want to push.
Here's another stat. I'm undefeated against Usain Bolt!
But on the other hand you're quite comfortable saying only SML has a chance at the 400 WR when she hasn't even run the distance while Bol has and she's the one who set a WR indoor.
Until SML actually gets on the track and runs the 400 it's just fanboy talk.
Here are a couple of old videos of Bol, to demonstrate the level she came from. It was all monotone stamina without any hint of speed. That's why I was aware of her based on this YouTube channel but never thought she would become a star.
The first one is the national indoor final in 2016. Bol was in lane 1. She said in the recent Citius Mag video interview that she was so nervous prior to this race she considered false starting on purpose. Bol thought she was 17 at the time. Actually it was only a few days after her 16th birthday:
The following year she managed a much better heat and drew lane 4. But again she was badly outrun during the first lap and finished last. The winner of this race was later convicted of drug smuggling with a lengthy sentence, ending her career:
BTW, there was a comment here saying Bol's record might not be ratified due to lack of an inside rail. Apeldoorn always uses cones in that area instead of a rail. I assume they have received indications that it's okay. Last year the facility was named the host of the 2025 European Indoor Championships.

Stop making stuff up. I have NEVER said that I think Sydney McLaughlin can run faster than 47.60.
And Sydney McLaughlin HAS run a flat 400 both indoor and outdoor. How do you not know that?

You need to remember what you wrote:

Show this board where she has run an open 400 in any major competition.

You're an idiot! Someone else wrote that. Your reading comprehension sucks!

My mistake, I get you two mixed up.
Hi - it’s the other idiot here😉Are you trying to say SML has never run an open 400? You do know she is #2 all time in the NCAA for the indoor 400 with 50.36 from March 2018 as a Kentucky freshmen? Kendall Ellis holds the record at 50.34. TFRRS is a good source of information.

Ahhhh yes....Saying that in the context of this topic (which has been totally unfair to Bol seeing as she set the WR) we're talking about elite pros and SML has not run an open 400 at this level. 2018 was 5 years ago against collegians. I'm sure she can run a fast flat however in your post you've pretty said she alone can challenge the WR...that means she also supercedes the 48.36 by Uibo and the 48.99 by Paulino.
I don't believe in handing out results when someone hasn't even run against anyone.
