Rogers 7th to 3rd in the last 50m!
These announcers are terrible, they stopped watching the race and didn't know Rogers got third until the results came up.

Awesome performances by the Americans. Mu winning in Rudisha style. Rogers with an epic finish. Wow!
It's another Scots finish in 4th episode!

10 minutes until W 800. Can Rogers nab a bronze? Can one of the 3 Brits? Will Athing look pressed?
Yes. Yes. Slightly.
Mu at least dipped at the line and was ecstatic with her time.
The race looked like 2012 london mens 800m. Congratulation Athing!
Field update
Hammer - Deanna Price will finish in 8th as top American
Pole Vault - Nilsen will medal. Only the color to be determined.
Gabby vs. the Jamaicans, TaLou, Mbomba and Uibo up next.
Kovacs and Otterdahl into the final.

Exactly. Alycia Montano is so busy babbling she has no idea what is gone on. She's terrible.....and don't even get me started about Michelle Carter.
Looked like pretty even splits. With a good rabbit, a 1:54 looks possible.

Duplantis makes this look just soooo easy.
Now watch another WR on the track

2 - 19 year olds run 1:55?!? Dayum.
First race of the olympic track and field that I believe was won by a non- doped runner (and silver). Both 1st and 2nd genuine prodigies. Got the doubts about 3rd place Rogers, but at least 1+2 deserving.
Makes a big difference to the last Olympic ‘women’s’ 800m with 1-2-3 all XY males. Nice to see actual women allowed to shine in a women’s event.

I think the 200 final sets some records for fastest 3rd and 4th place finishes. I see 19.8 as the fastest ever 3rd place finish.
Thiago Braz out, Nilsen and Duplantis all that is left in PV
