I think they are both awesome but I expected more and I bet both of them did to. I just thought they were much less than expected today. I did not think they competed in the middle and I don’t think either of them really raced to try to accomplish anything. It was tentative and just less than expected. That’s all. Doesn’t mean they won’t be better in the figure just today’s effort was EH.
I concur. It was perfectly smart to just stay back with Hassan early on. But by mid race, they were gapped well before the real racing started. They weren’t running conservatively; they were running as fast as they could.
I assume Cranny is a 14:35-14:40 runner in good conditions. So she might have been close to her max. But Schweizer ran 14:26. She should’ve been there with 600 to go. And the truth is she hasn’t looked like a 14:26 runner all year. Sorry, suspicious by association.
