Taking a break from running: going to use the bike and do alternative stuff until this PF clears up once and for all.

Let's hope this clears up quickly for you.
warm up then 4 x (3 mins @ T pace + 2 mins @ 5K pace + 1 min @ 3K pace) all off 1 minute recovery then cool down.

Raleigh Mountain bike, longest ride in 2007, 115 miles on a rail bed/ trail conversion.
Run today of 2 miles in 42F rain. Invigorating. Sugaring season is nearly over , it was a good crop in North central Wisconsin.
Not sure where I left off....
Wednesday: 50' @ 80% vVO2max, lifting
Thursday: a few sprints then about 80' easy, massage (verrry good!)
Friday: 12 x 800 @ 100% vVO2max (verrry tough!)
Saturday: 55' easy recovery

Today, Sat., for 44'04" Fairly steady pace. AHR 141 MHR 153.
5.2 miles in 44 min. Glorious spring day with temps in mid 60's.First bare legged run since October of last year.
The old Vermont cliche" 9 months of winter and 3 months of tough sledding" , applied to Wisconsin as well this time around.
67 min moderate run. sunny and beautiful out.... i guess i should be thankful

During the actual race, lots of sun, cool, clean air,
Then I went to my son's friend birthday party and a woman dropped a full bottle of sprite on my foot. Iced it. Seems ok.
