There are too many first amendment problems for the government to do much about what Trump says on his own platform. The only reason Trump is not on Twitter any more is because Twitter decided to get rid of him.
I think there is a market for Trump's new social media platform. It will be successful if he can get all the white supremacists and 4chan nutjobs to mover over to his platform.
But I don't expect it to be a genuine place that feels like home to those people.
Ultimately, the platform will be a transparent vehicle to solicit donations. The money is what Donald cares about. He doesn't care about his "movement". So as long as Donald is calling the shots, the platform will fail.
