Let the ruination of the GOP continue!
The GOP can’t stop sinking, WTF ??

One might start to think that Gaetz, Nunes, McCarthy come up with these ideas in morning showers with Gym Jordan !

Maybe Fats knows something about this. This reports suggest that the break is significant.

I don't have any "inside information" as I haven't considered myself to be a Southern Baptist for many, many years and my church is not affiliated with the SBC. This is the quote from Beth Moore that has been uttered by so many, including myself and Jimmy Carter:
I am still a Baptist, but I can no longer identify with Southern Baptists
I do have a lot of Southern Baptist friends, and I know that Beth Moore is very popular and respected. But this won't change things much. I expect that the SBC will continue its slow decline.

You worship BLM and Antifa. You don't want law and order. You want riots and murders to abound.

The social unrest we saw under trump pretty much vanished after Biden took over... coincidence? You got conned and still can’t see straight.
Calamity, I admit that I have immense disrespect for the failed human being that was a failed President. But I do Not want riots and murders !!!

He’s not even the President and you are still talking about him. You are obsessed.
Here is the audio of a Trump phone call with a Georgia ekections investigator:
Georgia has 16 electoral votes which would have increased Trump's total to 248, so there must have been similar calls in other swing states.
The concept of signatures not matching doesn't make sense. A forgery would indicate that an actual voter's
name and address was used, so how could the evil democrats know which person that voted 2 or 4 years ago, wasn't going to vote in 2020. Someone in Trump's inner circle must have told him that, but Giuliani probably convinced him that thousands of people really did use someone else's information.

to my non-lawyer ear this call actually exonerates Trump.
He made it very clear that he believes a crime took place and he was asking a prosecutor to look into it.
The call with the actual secretary of state was much worse - when trump asked him to find a certain number of votes. Not just look into crimes.
I do think Trump honestly believes he was robbed of the election win. He's that delusional.
Which is a fascinatign legal issue...is he guilty of something if he genuinely believes a lie?
Probably he is guilty, yes. You can't urge election officials to find votes.

Not seeing that "unifying" language, Trollminator. Can't we all just get along???
The Republicans believe in 'unity' as long as everything is done the way they want it. The idea of compromise or bipartisanship is dead in the party of Lincoln.
Biden gave up on the minimum wage and compromised on emergency jobless benefits and was then able to get the Covid relief bill passed. But still, not a single Republican in either the House or the Senate voted for the bill, which, as is noted above, is overwhelmingly popular among Americans.
In 2010, McConnell announced that the top political priority of the Republicans was to deny Obama a second term. He failed at that, but more importantly he announced what seems to have become the guiding principle of the Republican Party - they exist only to oppose and obstruct whatever the Democrats want. They no longer have an interest in governing the nation, or moving the nation forward. They no longer care about improving the lives of Americans. All they care about is beating the Democrats.
If Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer cured cancer, the Republicans would vote no.
Had Trump been as skillful a negotiator and dealmaker as Biden, he could have repealed the ACA and passed his own health care reform act. He could have gotten legislative approval and funding to build his wall, instead of taking money away from Homeland Security to do it. But Trump's idea of negotiation is "my way or the highway"; if he doesn't get everything that he wants, he takes his ball and goes home. And that's one reason why he had remarkably few accomplishments.

He's still pulling the strings - big time - on one of our 2 parties. He is, very unfortunately, very relevant.
I am sure that McCarthy and Gym Jordan will push through Trump's much awaited infrastructure plan.

I'm as interested in the truly delusional versus NOT truly delusional question about Trump as I am in that question about Stalin, Hitler, Dahmer, J. Jones, etc.
And not that, "academically," one couldn't be (and I could), but.....of course, because the more that "true" delusion is discussed and considered, the more the ownership of the badness can tend to be discounted. And when someone shows themselves to be as comprehensively and affirmatively flawed as Trump, it makes that much less sense to suspect that any given shortcoming/action is the result of some delusion, blind spot, or whatever.
People like Trump don't deserve that benefit of the doubt (of sorts), and more importantly, suggesting to his supporters that it's ANYTHING other than simply his selfishness and corruptness hurts and threatens the country further.

All of the alleged fraudulent schemes were logistically impossible and Trump was stupid to believe they happened. For example, the dead voter theory would have involved a sizable team of people selecting elderly people from the voter rolls and matching them to obituaries. 10K of such votes would have required about 2K man hours. Another problem is that any scheme would involve one person forging over 100 signatures and there would have been obvious similarities. The people processing the envelopes undoubtedly either initialed them or used a personalized rubber stamp and if they were caught, they would be looking at time in prison
I don’t think that that actually believing the election was rigged is a defense. An investigation would disclose he was told by several people there was no chance of significant fraud, but that he chose to believe Giuliani instead which was putting himself ahead of the country. It's unacceptable for a POTUS to convince a large portion of population that a general election was fixed and 1/6 won't be the end of it. There will be a high potential for violence at the polls in 2024. Casting doubt in election integrity is one of the worst things a POTUS could possibly do and especially when it's based only on a belief that it was impossible for him to lose a fair election.

Show me one time in four years that Trump or someone from his administration gave Obama credit for something.
I don't even know if this guy is right, I suspect he's just trying to placate the FOX people. But here's some 'unifying language' coming from a Democrat.
