It strikes me as weird that you obsessively use the word "Communists".

Remember, Trump had a secret Chinese bank account that somehow had a surge in revenue a couple of years after it had become inactive, but at a time when Trump was President. And of course, Ivanka got all of those valuable Chinese patents precisely when her father was negotiating trade deals with China. So the bar for what is improper when it comes to dealing with China has been set pretty high, and whatever Biden may or may not have been involved in in 2017 falls way short.
Does that even matter?
Remember, lying about a b!owjob is an impeachable offense, but inciting an insurrection is not.
No. Which is exactly my point.
If nobody cares about Trump's shady deals in China, why should anyone care about Biden's seemingly legal and legitimate deals there.

Rand Paul is just not mentally sound.
If Trump has something on Graham, it is probably something that shouldn't be an issue but would be with a lot of GOP constituents.

Because is Trump is on their team, and Biden is on the other team.
GOP is not about winning "swing voters." They are all about mobilizing the base. Defending one of "their own" and attacking the enemy galvanizes their tribal identity.

Lindsey Graham is likely sexually ambiguous. Therefore given a name that works for either male or female. Trump probably hired someone (paid someone off) for his secret. Lindsey cannot afford to have such a secret divulged because he would never be voted for by religious conservatives. If sexually ambiguity is not Graham's secret it is certainly something that is similar -- a secret that must be kept in the closet.

He is called "Lady G"... speaks for itself. That is probably the only thing that would end his career

Rush-trained, perhaps. Impressive stuff.

They were worried for a moment - even Lindsey stepped off the trump train for an hour or two - but now they're fine.
What the holy heck is going to happen here...one of two parties is openly not so keen on democracy any more.
There's only one national leader of the GOP. One.

The one things Trumpsters hate is the idea of losing. The democrats should have openly celebrated the huge success of Trump's trial. (Knowing the Republican senators fear of Trump the democrats could have honestly said that conviction was not the main expectation nor a measure of success of the trial)
Successes:
(1) The majority of the senate including Republicans and Democrats judged Trump guilty. Many other Republican who didn't convict, said trump was guilty but they had to let him off on a technicality.
(2) The Americans found out just what terrible president Trump was. He was exposed.
(3) Leading Republicans and now many Republican voters now know that it was the big lie Trump told about the election. Joe Biden was honestly elected by the American people.
(4) Information revealed opens up Trump to a number of lawsuits. The lawsuits have already started.
Trump lost big.
https://www.cnn.com/2021/02/16/politics/capitol-lawsuit-trump-giuliani-proud-boys-oath-keepers/index.htmlCap'n Stormy just put out a statement attacking Mitch, calling him a corrupt tool of China, weak, etc.
Seems to me the GOP civil war lasted around a month and now it's over. Spanks won, America lost, and we are showing the world what a harsh autocrac party can look like in a modern democracy.
Trump is the only leader of the Republican Party.
if he wants it, if he's out of jail/legal problems, he's the nominee in 2024 without even breaking a sweat.

I'm not impressed. His only communication since he left office are statements written by other people and don't sound, like him. They aren't nearly as effective as his two sentence insults by tweet.

I agree that there isn't a prayer the average M@GA has the attention span to read that, especially the supposed author, however I don't think that changes the fact that assuming he's healthy enough to be propped up for a 2024 campaign, he's the nominee.

The way I see it is that this note is saying sorry mitch you Reagan types lost the gop civil war and now I’m just mopping up survivors. Like the marines did on many islands in the Pacific.

It’s still the start of the war. We will see this for the years to come - censures, strong conflicting statements about the direction the party needs to go, too busy to attack the Dems in unison like the old days. Trump is their king but he will be ruling from exile for at least 4 years. It will be beautiful to watch the GOP get crushed in the 2022 contests and still publicly back trump and whatever idiotic thing he does or says. They’ll be begging for him to return and show them the way again without any consideration that he is a loser who will never be able to win another presidential contest again.

Trump has to get his $hit together and find a Twitter-like communication platform quickly or he will be exposed to many more attacks from the RINOs.

Those attacks...whatever they have been....don't seem to have solved the "problem".

have to say, timing is favoring the Ds. By midterms the economy will be rocking and rolling, kids will be back in school, the virus in remission, the evidence will be in that Biden didn't usher in a communist revolution, and trump will be in multiple legal problems.

Trump found his G spot.
You are really reaching.
You and your buddies need to get on some anti-Trump meds.
You will feel better.
We may be seeing the first birth or change of a major party in over 150 years happening right now.
Are Republicans getting Whigged the way they Whigged the original Whigs?
Or did they save themselves by not convicting Donald?
They are at least evolving into something else as they did before.
They were originally the anti/south, remember.
Is Trump going to lead Republicans and Romney form a new party that will look like the Reagan Republicans?
This Trump party does not have any policy driven agenda. It’s pure emotion and disdain for others that are different.
They can’t win the presidency like this but they may be able to make Democrats the minority in both houses in 2022.
Who becomes Speaker of the House and Senate majority leader in this situation?

The House elects a Speaker. It does not have to be a member of the House. It could be Donald Trump.
DJT is Speaker; JRB and KH leave their offices, one way or another; DJT becomes President. Bingo.
