How did the Trump administration do that? Be specific. What minority are you? How did your status change on January 20th?
Trump administration scaled up the denaturalization program by unprecedented degree. This was a program designed to detect people like former Nazi collaborators who lied on their application. They used to this program to uncover anyone who made some minor errors or omissions on their application. The case number went from a single digit per year to hundreds, although many of them were able to get the decision reversed in the court.
I am a first generation Asian American. When I applied for my naturalization, I did not mention a minor traffic accident for which I pleaded no contest and paid the court expenses. This is because it was NOT REQUIRED under the law to report such incidents. But after reading media stories about people in similar situations fighting in the court, I got really worried. Trump's DHS was trying to revoke the citizenship from people for not reporting the things that were not legally required. I would have prevailed in the court if it had come to that, but that would have meant tons of legal fees and lengthy court battle.
This nightmare officially ended on Jan. 20, because Trump left the White House, along with Stephen Miller, who was the architect of this denaturalization policy. I am not from a country like Norway, and Trump made it clear I was not welcome. And his policy backed up his words.
You might find it funny to rile up anti-Trump people with your stupid Russian propaganda cartoons, but I found it extremely disgusting and offensive. You were mocking an existential threat to me.
You might say you were just being contrarian, but I never saw you post anything to poke fun at Trump or Republicans when they controlled the White House, the Senate and the House. No, you were mocking Dems when the other side had both the executive and the legislative branches (and the judiciary for that matter) under their control.
