If it looks like a mule, runs like a mule, and brays like a mule, then it’s a mule!
This thread was originally titled, "Incredible development in the $612,000 Transcon Goodge run, currently ongoing" but the new title is more descriptive. The description of the run is here.
If it looks like a mule, runs like a mule, and brays like a mule, then it’s a mule!
No my whole point of the post was to show someone who regularly does 9min miles at the end of the second day in multidayers. As it was that which you had said is never seen in multiday running.
Like I said, i agree with a lot of what you say but its the bold unchecked statements frequently made which tends to detract from the overall message
Perhaps the reason the Team does not want to correct or publicly address the accuracy of the heart rate is because it is a sales feature of NuCalm.
If Wil shoots up to 130-150 like every other runner are you inclined to pay any attention to this transcon run? More importantly, would you be inclined to buy NuCalm?

Just to reiterate NuCalm is a load of horse sh...
Why would he bother trying to prove anything when he has Maddona namechecking him and thousands of adoring instafans who’ll just cry haterz gonna hate?
Incidentally Madonna has posted about how proud of Rocco she is for the 26 miles he ran with him. Are they both in on the scam too do we think?

Rather, every time the team tried to explain to Will Cockerell, he just stuck his fingers in his ears and endlessly yelled, and I quote, "YOU'RE A FRAUD! YOU'RE A FRAUD! YOU'RE A FRAUD!!!"
It's the same thing as when Ashley Paulson chicked you all and even after she provided watch data, Cockerell and gang kept banging their pots and sucking their thumbs.

That's a silly question. Are we to ask if anybody who has ever met someone that has committed a crime, was also in on that crime?
That’s a silly analogy. He didn’t just meet him. He claims to have run 26 miles with him. So either he did or he didn’t.

It would be impossible for NuCalm to ask Robbie to ask Madonna to post a paid promoted tweet. This solves it. No more posts on this thread are necessary. Madonna has blessed this run.
FYI
On Strava, Robbie is showing two runs w Will yesterday. HR of about 90 BPM at 14 min pace. And he even threw down a 6:30 Transcon mile where his HR spiked to 140.
These Transcon are easy peasy!
I knew it! They are involved. The conspiracy widens…
Kilian Jornet. arguably the greatest ultra runner in history could learn a few things from these transcon guys. His heart rate bounces between 120-150 for UTMB.
Does Kilian know about NuCalm?

Ultra running is such a new, niche sport that as soon as you get real athletes, like Goodge, competing, they're going to blow the record books wide open.
Look at tennis for example. Billie Jean King vs. Serena Williams? Not even on the same planet in terms of skill or athleticism.
How can you say the 1929 is a manufactured example? I don't know how much you know of ultrarunning history but transcons used to be much bigger business and meticulously recorded. The 1929 Bunion Derby had 81 runners. The last 26 miles mentioned above were on a track witnessed by 10,000 people. 3 or 4 days before the finish Salo completed the 58 mile stage in 9:09, (9.26 min mile pace). Whenever people give you examples that contradict your 'nobody in history...' statements, they are too slow or too good or too long ago. You will find much more documented and witnessed evidence for the transcon races in the early 20th century than you will for Tulloh's or Lees's crossings, yet you seem happy to take theirs at face value.
By manufactured I mean as you say: on a track, head to head in front of a huge crowd, on the last day. Of course there's going to be some very serious action in a situation like that.
I'm talking about folks just out there solo deep into the day, deep into the race. All I'm finding is that the streak of 45 mins for 8 k with every K sub 6, with a 4 minute K chucked in for good measure, is fantastically rare. You're getting close with PK, but it's PK for goodness sake. Like comparing a top golf pro with a 10 handicapper. And for someone of WGs level... well they're clearly always going to be in the 7-13 min/k range.
My research currently has him at 4% strike rate for sub 6 Ks for this journey, with loads of days going by with not a single one - yesterday for example. So it's 4% to the power of 8. Thus 152 billion to one against it being true or real. And that's not even taking into account that a really quick K lessens the chances of the next one being really quick as well due to fatigue. And he came into the stretch having run an already remarkable [for him] 52.
Just move on. There is far more to this life than obsessing over this guy’s niche, non-record-breaking effort, I promise you.
Or maybe you’re underestimating him and he finds this easier than the few people you’re comparing him to.
New youtube video is up.
Wow. The part where they were saying he is #1 in the world on Strava right now with video effect making it look like he is the best effing athlete in the entire world! Like an old NBA replay production with Michael Jordan walking off the court clinching the series and 6 rings. But it is good to see that Will keeps his body shaved and without shirt for the aerodynamics. NuCalm baby.
55 miles today. Compare the heart rate graph for the first 25 with the last. Completely different. It's almost like he is a different runner for the 2nd half. Is it that NuPalm nap working magic? Or is that a watch mule.
BTW, What the hell do 2-3 other ultra-runners do for the 12 hours that he is running? It only takes about a half an hour to get groceries for the day. Maybe an hour for laundry.
