Yes, because none of those 80 plus year olds with multiple comorbidities living in nursing homes would have died in the past 19 months had Covid not come along.
There has been an enormous shift in the age groups dying of Covid-19 since the vaccines have been introduced and it isn't dominated by the "80 plus year olds" anymore:
So, since we introduced vaccines, Covid is now killing younger people?
And this supports the use of vaccines how?
The vaccine mitigates the risk to the vaccinated. Vaccination rates among the 65+ population is well over 90% while vaccination rates among the 18-64 cohort are lower (60% -80% nationally with significant regional difference).
Covid is now largely killing the unvaccinated.
But you knew that.

The deaths rates in the younger groups have not gone up, . . .
It's clear from this chart that the rate of deaths in ages ranging from 15-55 attributed to Covid-19 have gone up in the most recent wave.
Are you dumb? This chart is percentage of the total. If deaths among younger groups stay flat and the elderly deaths rate goes down because they are vaxed or dead already, then the percentage of the total goes up for younger populations. Why do you not understand this? If you are so certain then post actual numbers rather than percetages of total deaths, it is misleading information.

No, the chart is the percentage of weekly Covid Deaths vs Total Deaths per age group.
For example, over the past several weeks, over 30% of all deaths in the 45-54 age group have been attributed to Covid.

I see and I get it, this is still skewing reality as the numbers are still very low. Currently only 5% (~35,000 in 1.5 years) of all covid deaths have been people under the age of 50; 5%! Those 5% are also not healthy people either. Covid is NOT killing young healthy people at all, hardly at all. Keep lying to yourself though and demanding all young healthy people be paranoid to death of SARS2 for eternity.

Where exactly does it say: "Asymptomatic vaccinated are shedding more of the virus than asymptomatic unvaccinated?"
Also, it does say this:
"Continued adherence to non-pharmaceutical interventions during periods of high community transmission to mitigate spread of COVID-19 remain important for both vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals."
I wonder what those non-pharmaceutical interventions might be? hmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Most articles on medrxiv are in preprint like this one while they are being peer reviewed. I like how you are unable to interpret this study so you jump to the lowest hanging fruit that has nothing to do with the study. If this study is accurate there is no reason to vaccinate anyone who does not want to be vaccinated and vaccinating people who are already not at risk may be contributing to the spread. This also makes Israel's data make more sense.

The key words are have been attributed to.
It's all baloney

https://monkeystyping.neocities.org/PercentOfUSWeeklyCovidDeathsByAge.pngThis is dumb. There are (1) less deaths and (2) the elderly susceptible population has already been decimated; it is logical that remaining susceptible populations will be younger. The data does not even differentiate between vaxed or not and who had died "with covid" following 1 shot of the vaccine. Key point, the really old people are already dead or vaxed. A more appropriate chart would be of death/million or something, not a percentage of a changing whole. This is a misrepresentation of reality. The deaths rates in the younger groups have not gone up, rather they have gone down in the elderly, mostly because those susceptible in those age brackets have already passed.
It takes a special brain to look at those data and type that response. You are a gem.

It's not skewing reality, it's simply the perspective of mortality risk of Covid vs everything else by age group.
Younger people don't die at the rate of older people, but their risk is significantly greater with Covid in the picture.

What's that job? Putting people in the hospital?
Take a step back and apply some common sense.
Vaccines were sold to us as what we needed to end this.
Yet here we are, nearly 200 million Americans vaxxed and more cases than ever.
It's all baloney.
The thread topic is that most Covid-19 cases and deaths (in North America) are now are from the UN-vaccinated.
You cannot reasonably claim vaccines do not work because people who did not take them got sick and died.
Would you say seat belts don't work because those not wearing them get injured and killed?

Exactly.
One of the loudest arguments on this forum is "COVID isn't a risk for young people."
Your chart shows that significant portion of younger deaths are now caused by COVID.
Thank you, as always, for the data!

Odd. I missed the part about this being limited to North America.
Fact is we were told the vaccines would end this and here we are in worse shape than before hundreds of millions of people were vaccinated.
We have been lied to repeatedly and you guys still listen to the liars

Bunch of dumb@$$es.

No worries, Unkle. I fully support your constitutional right to reckless idiocy. It's the American way!
Keep rolling those dice. It's your funeral. Might want to dress up for it - maybe get a few extra for your friends?

It's a great chart from Monkeys Skyping that shows that vaccination has turned COVID into a middle-aged persons disease.
All those people who were told 'COVID is only bad for 80+" are now finding out this was wrong.

You are not far off. According to this study, the vaccinated may carry a higher viral load than the unvaccinated:

Interesting study. It says IF you get COVID when vaccinated and are asymptomatic, you may have a higher viral load but there's a ton of overlap and small sample size for asymptomatic cases.
Don't forget vaccine still protects against getting that infection, and vaccinated people seem to clear infections faster.
I wouldn't say this preprint adds much new stuff. We know vaccinated breakthroughs have similar viral loads.

There is no proof of what you are saying. Your only "proof" is that you assume vaxing everyone will have stopped this from spreading....eradicating covid is an impossible feet, stop believing in the ridiculous and blaming people for it not occurring.
