He is like a 12-year old. He's facing his 2nd impeachment trial, but he's upset about being booted from SAG-AFTRA? That he even knew about it must mean he has a team scouring the net looking for stories about him.

Plus it was actually a real idiot move from the former social media influencer. By quitting instead of getting it taken away, apparently (can’t find the article anymore) members of the SAG union are not allowed to work with him on anything according to its rule. Trump is a master of digging himself new and deeper holes.
TRump's hotel hoping to cash in on the March 4th zaniness:
Alrighty boys and girls. Game-time. Trump on trial. Unless he or his lawyers do something stupid (which, tbh is possible), there won't be enough support to convict. But, without the protections of the White House things are about to get uncomfortable for #45.

Its basically a mix of grifting and laundering. The idiots are flushing money down toilet and into his pockets again and any expense that is financed by his super PACs is just being laundered through his hotels.

Do the Democrats have anything that's not already publicly known? It looks like Roger Stone and other people close to Trump were involved with the Oath Keepers or the Proud Boys or whoever, but will we see any direct communication between Trump and the traitor groups? Trump has generally been careful about keeping some distance between himself and those who do his dirty work.
Who cares ? Did Brady deflate the ball for the Chiefs ?!?

Probably, but anything juicy will need to come from an insider.
It's not clear whether or not there will be witnesses. Even if a witness is called, it's basically optional to appear because they don't have time to fight about it in the courts. So witnesses can not be compelled.
But if witnesses appear voluntarily then you might hear about a lot of things that are not publicly known. Though unlikely, it's possible that someone will step forward to talk about how Trump was planning to stir the crowd to attack. IMO, hard evidence of Trump's intent is only thing that could possibly lead to conviction.
On the other hand, even a recording of Trump saying, "Let's get our MAGAs to attack the capitol" might not be enough.

Based on them trying to get the WH visitor logs from the days leading up to the attack, I think they will connect the dots more clearly and describe the various meetings that took place between the extremists and trump's minions and the deliberate confusion and layers injected by trump and his people. With his post-loss desperation I think he would have had to take more personal risk in trying to stage a coup so he was probably less careful. Of course, there will be no secret recording of trump telling anyone "I hereby ask you to organize an attack on the capitol."

If the former president Donald Trump is acquitted (exonerated) a second time will you FINALLY get off his back? Sheesh ... You guys are ALWAYS attacking the poor guy. Please give it a rest if exoneration comes a second time.

I think there will definitely be witnesses. Graham has been terrified and publicly saying he hopes no witnesses are called. I think at the very least some Senators, Congressmen/women and staffers who were there will be called.

You sound like Nimrata your fellow trump lover
Liberals, I hate to rain on your parade, but this impeachment trial is going to play out exactly like the last one and the Mueller investigation. Once again, Dems have no evidence of the false claims they make and are overplaying their hand because they are so desperate not to have to face him again as they know another pandemic won't save them again in 2024.

I think it will result in an acquittal, so the bottom line will be the same as the last one.
However, with the Democrats running the show in the Senate, this trial will be more substantial than the dog and pony show that Mitch put on. If not actual witnesses, we will hear and see real evidence this time, which won't be flattering to the former President. Trump's treason will be that much clearer, and anyone who continues to support him will more obviously be in the anti-American camp.
As far as not wanting to face him again, you're 100% wrong here. Trump's proven to be a terrible Republican candidate, but he's been great for Democrats. Trump's base is small and it figures to only get smaller over the next four years. Moderates and independents flocked to Biden in this last election, and evidence of Trump's role in trying to overthrow the government will only cement him as a radical, un-American, and outside of the mainstream candidate.

56% of the country wants him convicted and barred from holding office again. So, I wouldn't get your hopes up about Trump's prospects in 2024, when he'll be older, feebler, fatter and more confused.

This plus the fact that Dems are simply exposing the GOP's treasonous support for a downright loser and moron. That trump won't be convicted only helps Dems continue to win future elections. The GOP can't decide what it wants to do because there are still too many moderates who are turned off by trumpism. They can't go all in again and they can't let go. This pretty much ensures the GOP will continue in-fighting while Dems continue to lead the country forward.

I can't see the GOP piecing itself back together by 2024 when the wheels have just started to come off. At this pace with them infighting they will lose more Senate seats and reverse their 2020 House gains.
Democrats lose again!!!!
