Hard to disagree with Trump on this point. Even liberals would have to agree with Trump on this.
I actually think Trump is more famous than J. Christ, but I doubt liberals would be willing to go that far. They just don't have the necessary experiences to make such correct observations.

The word is 'notorious'.
After inviting the Trump Terrorists to attack the capital with lies about a stolen election, I would say the most hated.
“In the final Gallup survey before his resignation, Nixon’s job-approval rating among Republicans was at 50 percent, and 31 percent of Republicans favored his resignation. According to a NPR/Marist survey, Trump’s job-approval rating from Republicans is at 77 percent (with 64 percent “strongly” approving), and only 15 percent of Republicans support steps to remove him from office before his term expires.
“Moving on” from Trump won’t be as easy as it was for Republicans to put Nixon in the rearview mirror, in part because they retained the White House under his successor, Gerald Ford, and in part because there was zero fear of Nixon making another comeback.”
“ It all adds up to a real problem for the party Trump is damaging on his way out the door: Its voters may not let go of him, and he may not go away. And in the meantime, the problems Republicans worried about before the 45th president pushed them in a new (if self-destructive) direction haven’t been solved by his defeat and disgrace. If they can somehow get their act together quickly, 2022 could be a Republican comeback year in which they take control of Congress again and prepare to reconquer the White House. But the confusion in Republican ranks in Washington and increasingly around the country as to whether Trump is a victimized saint or a delusional villain does not bode well for a quick recovery from the furies he unleashed.”

Starting to get some momentum to the good side in the US...the fourth or fifth day of declines in new cases. Deaths are stable to ticking slightly down.
Israel new cases...stopped moving up after a month of near vertical rise. Not aggressively good but better than the continued rises we have been seeing.
Israel: 25% rec'd at least one dose
USA: 3.71% rec'd at least one dose
In the US, the # of people vaccinated per day continues to rise to new highs...up to 800,000 per day (7 day average).
Prosecutors in Georgia appear increasingly likely to open a criminal investigation of President Trump over his attempts to overturn the results of the state’s 2020 election, an inquiry into offenses that would be beyond his federal pardon power. . . .

I’m dumbfounded that there aren’t any laws already on the books against a candidate, whether incumbent or not, directly contacting election officials. That should be a no-brainer, right?
Good morning everyone. I have a question. How can we be having a Senate trial of Donald Trump?
Look at Article 1, Section 3, Clause 6 of the constitution ..."When the President of the United States is tried...". Well, Trump will no longer be president during the trial. It doesn't say " when the former president of the US is tried." So we really can't be having a Senate trial. Do you not agree?

The riot pushed the story of Trump asking the Georgia S.O.S. to committ election fraud out of the news cycle, but that alone, would justify impeachment.

For what it's worth, the incident is cited in the articles of impeachment.
I've seen commentary from at least one legal scholar that they should focused on that and only that incident, because of the challenges of proving "incitement" in a strict legal sense.
A person like Trump pushing every boundary of every law is the reason so many laws and regulations have to be enacted.

Igy's motivation, like all miserable perma-bears who read ZeroHedge, is to teach the economy "a lesson" since the Fed stepped in and ruined their bear orgy in 2008. Ever since then the next crash has been right around the corner, you just wait and see, and we'll surely pay for all this and our bullish gains will be instantly wiped - the bears will win in the end, yes sirree
That is a CORRECT assessment of Igy...doesn't address all of his horribleness, but not every mention of him needs to.

The $100M loan is is due 9/2/2022. It is an interest only note. The full amount is due. And there are no U.S. lenders willing to lend him any more.

Yep. I've been saying for years that his "wealth" is all smoke and mirrors. He called himself the "king of debt" for years and then suddenly when running, he said he had "7 billion f*cking dollars in the bank" which he then later said it was closer to 10 billion or even more. He's just a liar to the nth degree. He owns practically nothing outright. He is going to have to majorly restructure his business and holdings to have any ability to make money going forward. While I think he's actually worth less than a billion dollars right now, we WILL see stories in the near future (assuming he's still alive) that he is no longer a billionaire.
