Westerville North with a very impressive win at Tiffin, even without Gableman running.
That's impressive to get a win at the Tiffin XC Carnival without their top runner. But why was he not there?
I feel that more and more of the teams are not racing their top guys on a week-by-week basis in September to keep their legs fresh when they get into October? I don't know for sure though.

Kilbourne was racing but they were missing 1, 5, and 7
Deeslir is #4 usually. So missing 1-4-7. But North would've crushed them anyway. Kilbourne probably #2 here if at full strength.
ok just getting back to this they missed there 1 and 4 runner but they all run simmiler to each other and if you miss a 7 which isnt really with that group wont make it change anything so im just gonna say it but i dont think that they would have got top 3 that meet. but the real qustion is why where they not there.
I'd like to point out that Weston Day did race while other top guys were missing. He's going to uncork something absolutely MASSIVE in Obetz. Trust me, you don't want to sleep on him.

College visits (Smith), illness, family stuff... who knows. Who cares. But they'd be 2nd, easily and possibly even had won, assumimg no Gabelman.
Smith would've won and their 4th would've been around 40 or so. Kilbourne's normal 5th was 44th. So that 1 and 40 replace 51 and 63. Take 70 pts off their total and there you go. Around 110.
But add Gabelman and you could do the same for WN. And Saketh for Orange. Playing that game, it looks roughly like this:
WN: ~ 68
Kilbourne: ~ 110
Orange: ~ 130
If nothing else, this weekend made one thing clear. The best two teams right now are easily Mason and WN.
Is it just me or is Kilbourne no consistent at all To be honest I can't keep track of what everyone is saying there 7th 4th 5th because they run so different times each week and their placement keeps moving and I think Kilboure was only missing 2 of the 7 but I dont really follow them.

Many teams 4-7 are so close they're interchangeable. A #7 guy on some teams can be the #4 guy on any given day. Mason, for example.
Wooster Meet (I’ve never ran at). I am not knocking any performance there since I don’t know the course, but what kind of course is it as Wow, some very impressive performances!!! I am aware with XC every course differs so truly hard to “define” a true XC course but looked like a super fast course

I love 3 mile downhill courses! These will be impressive until the Celtic Clash and Berlin Bear Dash results roll in next month.

Yeah Wooster definitely doesn’t have the most legit times

It's true, very inconsistent. Dublin Scioto is a model of consistency and will be coming on strong in the back half of the season.

3 out of the last 4 OCC Capital titles is pretty consistent.

Why be so hung up on times? It’s XC, FFS. Everyone runs the same course. Times don’t matter but place does. You’re running against your opponent, not the clock.

Trust me I agree, I never said they did. I was just responding because someone seemed skeptical about the course

They've had some good teams in recent years, but that's the point, the wheels are coming off the bus! Doing weird things in races, unpredictable performances, all much different this year. There are some teams that everyone is sleeping on still that are going to surprise.
