Then the next thing we would look at it is whether or not Democrats had been trying to make it possible to engage in the kind of cheating we are accusing them of.
For the last couple of decades Dems have been doing everything possible to make it easier to cheat when voting. They fight voter ID laws. They pushed for early voting. Then more recently they added massive distribution of millions of vote by mail ballots while simultaneously staging hundreds of lawsuits designed to break down any attempts to secure those ballots. Dem Governors and Sec of States unilaterally changed election laws to loosen signature checks and allow for ballots to be collected after election day. All of these things make it practically impossible to secure our elections.
Yes. Democrats worked VERY hard to enable the kind of cheating that they are being accused of.
Check.
Sorry, but the 'this is all a Democratic plot' theory doesn't hold up.
Virtually every state has sanctioned mail in ballots for years, and most if not all states expanded mail in voting and early voting in response to the pandemic. Doesn't matter if the state was run by Democrats or Republicans. Even Trump voted by mail, as a FL resident.
Of the 6 battleground states that Trump is whining about, 2 have Republican governors. And although PA's governor is a Democrat, it's state legislature is Republican majority and made the election rules last year. This led to one particularly moronic legal challenge in PA where it was claimed by Republicans that the rules for mail in voting set by the Republican state legislature were unconstitutional.
If this is all a Democratic plot, why did Republican GA and AZ join in ? And if this was a Democratic plot, why did the Dems lose seats in the House and likely not seize control of the Senate? If they were secretly pulling the strings on this election, you think they'd have made sure they got control of the WH, the House and the Senate.
