Exactly what about that is so miraculous? Do you really think that a 6:15-6:20 is out of reach for most weekend warriors? One of my friends joined the baseball team in HS (not a sport that needs much cardiovascular endurance), and even he could run a 6:20 mile despite being one of the slower guys on the team. An active adult cyclist, XC skier, or soccer player would be even faster, even if they were casual hobbyists and not serious competitors.
