My rankings would be the following :
***** Eliud Kipchoge
**** Mo Farah,Shura Kitata
*** Mosinet Geremew,Abraham Kiptum
** Leul Gebrselassie,Mule Wasihun
* Daniel Wanjiru,Wilson Kipsang,Tamirat Tola
OUT Abdi Bashir,Callum Hawkins
I would upgrade Abdi Bashir and downgrade Kipsang or Tola due to recent races, but Abdi hasn't proven at the full distance yet, but it could be his breakthrough race. I can see him run 2:07-2:08 even if he goes out with the leaders.
***** Mary Keitany
**** Brigid Kosgei,Vivian Cheruiyot
*** Gladys Cherono,Roza Dereje
** Tadelech Bekele,Linet Masai
* Haftamnesh Tesfay,Molly Huddle
OUT Emily Sisson,Charlotte Purdue,Lily Partridge
For me Brigid Kosgei is the most improved female runner of the season (alongside Ruth Chepngetich who is not here). She will be very tough to beat and will run fearlessly. However, Keitany's experience might prove decisive(if she's in great shape, otherwise it's a no contest).
White man,
You nailed it man!
