50,000+ are so full of vanity they'll run NYC but not 1/25 of them will watch Dubai.
Is that just for your stream?

2:03:18 pace at 35k. So a 2:09 no-name and a debutante are going to run 2:03 mid?
The men are still FLYING up front. With Negasa pushing, they just ran 14:34 for their last 5k, meaning they’re on 2:03:19 pace. It's down to two: Negasa and Getaneh Molla, who is on track to run the fastest debut marathon ever.

It's 10:45pm here on a Thursday. The race is full of people who's names we cannot pronounce. What do you expect? haha

Only Molla staying with these 2:50 Ks Negasa is throwing down.
Why don’t you give Molla a holla?
Something Michael Cohen has said...
People who say the weather is no good didn't watch the last few years.

It's 7:45 pm on the west coast and I don't care if it's a bunch of unknowns, both the men's and the women's races are great and the coverage is excellent.
Who's this saina guy? I just love his build, form and running style. Too bad he is falling back.
Now we're back to three men at the front pack as Asefa Mengstu, who was 5 seconds down at 35k, has caught the leaders and is running with Molla and Negasa.
I think he's the guy who ran 2"05 solo in south america

He's massive. Wonder if the Vaporfly allows heavier marathoners to compete. The guy's upper body is like Ryan Hall, the new one.

Meanwhile I imagine Japan has way more viewers and hence, why they may have been showing those 2 Japanese runners so much earlier.

I live in NYC. 49,000 of them have never heard of Mary Keitany. 40,000 have never heard of Molly Huddle.

Pace is slowing.
https://twitter.com/letsrundotcom/status/108864550794419814413 minutes to go in the men's race! All 3 still in it. Hard to predict.
Molla broke 13 in August so he has some track prowess.
Maybe Molla the new guy? First marathon. A 12:59 5K guy, with 5K to go!
