predicting Emma blowup around 35-40K
she's running solo right?
I mean, she's not running solo. Has a few men to key off of. Looking great so far.

I did USATF plus. Clicked on the $12.99 and I was on. Yes, it's a credit card, but you've got 30 days of events, not just this one race. Honestly, it's worth it! I'm clueless with computers and it was easy. Do it now and you can watch the 2nd half
With everyone on the roads, they need to make track standards easier too.

She's got 3 over a minute behind her, but gosh oh mighty she looks fantastic.
Llano 1:17:20 at 25k. Over a minute lead, great leg turnover at this point.

Top 5 are all under 1:15. Bates is looking mechanical and just bloody perfect
This makes me so happy to hear! I'm rooting for her all the way. Seems like a super sweet girl and I felt so bad about how she lost her father a few years ago. Hoping she continues the smooth running/even pace all the way to the finish line!
Less than 50 minutes for Llano to run. If he doesn't BONK, he's going to pop a good one! Anything can happen, but he's looking really good as is Bates.
well Emma's using vaporfly right? (can't see) so that moves her LT point to like 35K, maybe even 40K, but I thought she was running solo, if she is with guys then that changes things
btw what was the weather report? temps? wind?

1:13:24 for Bates at halfway
1:13 isn’t unreasonable for her. She shouldn’t blow up second half at that pace.

I think she'll have to fall down or cramp up big time to lose her lead. I wish you all were watching, I really do. She and Llano look sooooooo good it's sick. She's got about 63 minutes to go
Feel like Llano & Bates are both the kind of established runners the fields shouldn't have let go. One or both might get caught but it's different than Stinson last year. They seem to be running well within themselves. If they both get to 20 miles and look good it'll be tough. Any uphills are done by then and it's a gradual downhill to the finish. Hard to catch them at that point unless some people behind them judged it right and can throw down.
Bruce and Crouch are together but they're going to run out of real estate unless they really pick it up.

I agree with you 100%. Neither put in a big move, they just ran even from the start and kept it up.
1:27 flat for Bates at 25k, by visually watching her run by the sign. Announcer are chatting about running with the Buffaloes book
Crouch and Bruce just ran by the same point in 1:28:32, Bates is gaining more and more!
Just confirmed, 1:30 lead with 10 miles to go for Bates. Did I mention she looks great:)
has the camera shown the OTQ B pack? because that has to be massive
in the stats at least it looks HUGE
On men's side after Llano, Givens, and Reyes, there were 16 people who came through 25k on 2:13 pace. I don't want to hear the garbage about American marathoning yet, some will fall off, some might finish there, and some might be able to get into the 2:12s.
They just did and you are right sir, it's a big pack and they are all on.

Done. Already paying extra for Olympic channel to get the marathon majors on my cable tier. Bates looks strong.
