Yeah definitely not bad. Coffey's mile was blazing, and Cook ran only a little slower with probably more jostling, after a semester abroad, and took some U of M scalps to boot.
Plus I've ran there a few times in my life, and the air is often (see: always) noticeably worse than other indoor tracks.
Coffey sub-4 outdoors? That 4:10 is what, 4:06 on a banked track?
My first inclination is to say yes for the sub-4:00, but I have to remind myself that he also opened with a 4:09.xx at this time last year. That said, a 4:09 behind Campbell and Escher is significantly less impressive than a solo 4:10.
I say he can come close, I just don't think he had the same wheels as Escher nor the endurance of Campbell.
That said.. I hope he proves me wrong and does it!
