I love a good cheat busting scandal. Well done OP.

Man. In the 15 minutes since I posted, this thread has risen one spot. It's now #1 on p. 2 of google organic results for "mike rossi" (not in quotes). Keep at it, LR.
guessing deadspin will pick this up by tomorrow afternoon and post on it, and that should break things open.
Also, regarding the (lack of) photos...what was the temp that day? If is possible he was wearing a throw away layer that he continued to wear for the majority of the race that covered up his bib?
I just got off the phone with fox philly, the lady who took my call seemed very interested in the details.
Leave comments on the Philly Mag article about him (Rossi has actually been commenting himself) or tweet the writer about Rossi's cheating

best monday night ever
Way to go LR
I freakin HATE a cheater, especially one that heaps that much attention on himself.
I wore a singlet the whole time at Lehigh, was never cold, and was a sweaty mess by the end.
He posted a pic of himself at the start on either his blog or facebook and he was wearing the same Nike shirt as the end, no throwaway layer.
well, it is good to hear that he is owning the picture of himself at the start anyway...those pictures from the finish line are looking pretty covert to me. Very incognito...

I will pay $1000 to a charity of his choice if he can run with 15 minutes of his Boston Qualifier. Brojos have my email.
Anyone else want to chip in and make this a public offer?
If he wants the spot light, he can have it will earning some money for a good cause!
I think we should go for at least $10,000. Hell $15,000 for 15 minutes sounds as a better marketing plan. I was going to say LetsRun will pay the rest but Weldon would probably freak so I need to ask for permission. To start, I personally will contribute $1,000 as I am very confident he won't do it. It seems HIGHLY suspicious.
That being said, I do have one question.

He brought this on himself, now he needs to prove he ran 26.2 at Lehigh.
Several people have asked that he prove he ran it. Let's say he did run it, how would you prove you did it?
I think what we should do is look for more proof that he didn't. Let's look the 100 finishers behind him and the 100 finishers before him at Lehigh. Do all of them have finisning photos but him?
Anyone know how often (if at all) does a photographer miss someone at every stop?
I'm in for sure! I live near him and we already offered him $500 to hold MP for just 20 miles . No reply so far
We went through hundreds of photos. I have an email into us candids for any more possible lost and found pics. Still waiting on that.
In his finish line pics he has his Garmin on. He completely rejected posting the splits and blocked the person who asked right after.
I don't know what else beyond that anyone can ask for.

Good afternoon your story on Mike Rossi is very puzzling he got his Boston Qualifying time from 2014 Lehigh Valley Marathon which he ran a 3:11 the only problem is there is only pictures of him crossing the finish line none on the course with his fast time he ran there should be over a dozen or so pictures of him throughout the corse ( almost all the runners who ran the course have over a dozen or so pictures ) plus the major problem most fast runner are looking at his past race times on
http://www.athlinks.com/athletes/213451360the math does not add up , if you show any coach or fast runners his past race times they would say NO WAY
he a cheat and attention seeker trying to be in the spotlight also Yesterday Mr Rossi did the Philadelphia Broadstreet 10 mile race he finished somewhere around 1:20 that comes out to a 8 min plus per mile pace how can his marathon pace be faster ????????
Heard of 'em?
Dude needs to come clean. He straight up cheated.
Man, these RDs need to be more vigilant on this junk.
LOL! They keep deleting questions directed at Mike Rossi about whether or not he cheated! Great Journalism.

I just ran 26.2 miles in 2:03:01, new WR. You can't disprove it, therefore I have a life. What school do you go to so I can write them a letter for oppressing me for not having a life when I clearly was in the process of running a world record marathon?

No one runs 24 hours a day. Many of us are okay spending some time out of our day defending the integrity of a sport against a narcissistic douchebag.
Why did he run Broad Street if he has a torn labrum that he suffered through in Boston.
Why not rest up.
