if that isn't dumbest comment posted on here in years, it has few competitors
Hicham was barely figuring the event out when he retired
rubbish
his mileage for 1500 was legendary
so high that he managed a 7'23 with poor pacing off it
his 1st serious 5k he runs 12'50 & goes onto win silver that year & gold the next
his 1500 mileage was already good enough to run fast 5ks before he made a likely small step up in it for '03 in order to double
He coulda went much faster if he focused earlier as well
pure baseless conjecture
if he had done so, there is virtually no chance he wouda run 3'26
you can't have 3'26/12'40 simultaneously
Gotta give guys more a than a coupla attempts before making a definitive statement as to ultimate ability
he ran 12'50/12'52 in '03
that's enough to get a gauge
he was never going to run much under 12'50 at that time in his career
Both Lagat and El G were also aiming for a double which requires a bit of sacrifice for the 5k
NOT 10s over 5k
Do you even run? It seems like you don't
stoopid, stoopid question
do you run 12'50 ???
