Bernard Lagat better be scared, Rupp is taking all his records. Boom.
Where were Rowbury and Hasay?
When was the last time that a HS record was faster than a NCAA record? Not that Cain could ever hold a NCAA record (because of the rule against professionals in the NCAA), but she certainly holds the HS record now...

REALLY glad I spent that 20 dollars.
Same here. Best $20 I spent today.
Santa and the other guy were over 14 min., those times are not correct.
I just got home from the meet and damn...that was fun.
With about a mile to go, Gabe Sanders (BU assistant coach/announcer) said, "if you aren't on your feet already then why did you bother coming here!?!?"
or something close to that. Crowd went nuts. Anyways, it was a great race. Chelanga was on his heals, and made it look interesting until about 300 to go when Rupp found another gear.
That's it, I'm going for a tempo along the Charles.
Salazar just now saying he is confident Cain could run 2:34 at the current time. Felt she wasn't quite rested enough, and not enough self belief before the race.
AlSal also saying Rupp did not taper for this race, but will start tapering for the 2M.
Said if he had to bet his life he is picking 8:05 for 2M and 3:49 for the mile but "anything's possible"
must be some joke prep school or something...that guarantees straight A's
Maybe if spent less time instagraming and tweeting about how gay she is. She would have been more focused on pacing.

Just watched the whole thing. Feel like trapping myself inside a refrigerator now.
Cam ran 13:19 for a new Canadian record

Also, appreciate the lapped runners giving space as Rupp/Sam/Cam came through.
Felt bad for Cam Leviathan getting the CR and then was more or less doing his cool-down solo while Rupp was signing autographs.
Women pacers are more apt to screw things up than help. Just watch some Diamond League meets if you don't believe.

My ears are still ringing from the meet. Probably the most animated crowd I've seen outside of conference champs, and definitely worth the entrance fee that no one paid.
On a side note, I don't think that was an all out effort for levins. He looked like he shut down after Rupp and Chelanga dropped him.
Not to rain on anyone's parade but medals are worth more than records. Silver at 10k is great and should carry greater weight. Maybe he's still building for 2016. Will he be able to handle the weather?

I must be lucky, just finished the thread and it didn't cost me anything.

Rowbury and Hasay are both in the 800
No scholarship limits anymore! (NCAA Track and Field inequality is going to get way worse, right?)
