Do wannabe running websites count?
If you worked for a website that asked you to create fiction and pass it off to HS runners as truth, would that be a sleazy profession?

Investment banker- Overpaid, greedy, do anything for money. Shift money from place to place and just take a$$loads for it while the rest of us work for a living! 3000 employees at goldman sachs got over 700,000$ in BONUSES in 2008 during the economic recession! You can't argue me that what they do is that much more more valuable than a nurse who makes 40,000$ a year. Also, remember AIG and they're fvcking hawaii retreat after the bailout? disgusting behavior. They knew it was wrong, thats why they tried to cover it up.
Next is not insurance salesmen, they're just trying to make a living and don't have many options. Yes they lie, but many professions do. The worst is their bosses bosses bosses bosses, who make policies of rejecting claims no matter how valid they are. They take payments for a service, then refuse to return the service you've paid for. This is actual robbery! Since these people are friends with politicians (mostly the fiscal conservative free market types), other scumballs, they get away with it.
Lawyers serve a huge purpose, even the ambulance chaser type. They would actually fight for someone screwed by an insurance company, even if their only motivation is selfish. Without them, we would have no check to balance big corporations and propaganda agencies from taking the rights of consumers and the like!
To the person who said doctors charging too much- true for a very limited number of specialists who are jerks, but you can thank insurance companies not compensating doctors for services rendered for this in general. In the emergency room, the charges are so outrageous because the hospitals treat everyone (which is just and moral), most of whom cannot pay or won't ever be able to (homeless, poor, etc). the rest of us foot their bill. solution? either stop treating people without insurance (against hippocratic oath and instincts of most good/moral humans) or get universal health care, or some other compensation. Otherwise the hospitals would be bankrupt in months.
I agree! Just because our President is of Irish decent does not make him sleazy you! Erin Go Braugh!
