I don't get why you've decided to go into totally irrelevant rules for trans-identified male athletes in the women's category of a bunch of other sports when those rules have no bearing on, or relation to, women's boxing at the Paris Olympics under the governance of the specially-created ad hoc outfit called the Paris Boxing Unit.
Nor do I get why you've gotten all up in arms on this particular thread about "hatred of trans people."
Coz AFAICT, the topic of this thread isn't trans.
The issue under discussion here is the controversy surrounding two athletes reported to be XY competing in women’s boxing.
Since this story first broke, the sense I've gotten is that these two athletes are most likely XY DSD athletes thought to be female at birth like Caster Semenya and Francine Niyonsaba, not normally-developed XY male athletes who've adopted trans gender identities like Laurel Hubbard and Lia Thomas.
An alternative view put forward by some is that they're just bog-standard blokes taking the piss by exploiting the lax rules that have come into force in the current century as sporting bodies have bent over backwards to try to make the female sports category "inclusive" of males who want in.
Thursday night the AP reported that to determine the two supposedly XY boxers’ eligibility at the Paris Games, the IOC fell back on the previous IOC standards in place at the 2016 Rio Olympics and the 2020/21 Olympics. As you’ll recall, at the Rio Olympics all three medalists in the women’s 800m were XY DSD athletes - Semenya, Niyonsaba and Wambui.
ETA: the above does seem to be true. The IOC has a new statement out which says
"As with previous Olympic boxing competitions, the gender and age of the athletes are based on their passport."
"The PBU used the Tokyo 2020 boxing rules as a baseline to develop its regulations for Paris 2024. This was to minimise the impact on athletes’ preparations and guarantee consistency between Olympic Games. These Tokyo 2020 rules were based on the post-Rio 2016 rules
This seems to lend credence to the view that the two athletes at the heart of this controversy are males with DSDs, not males with trans gender identities.
But at any rate, not everything is about trans.
