Densely muscled? I have been watching this sport for over 52 years, I don't get that, I have seen way many more muscled up looking teen agers that this kid, in this sport and surely others. And for all the guys calling..drugs! Drugs! drugs!???? I don't know how you even watch this sport. Some of you do not allow for hardly any improvement and from some marks..that MUST have been drugged in your model. There are over 100M more people in the U.S. alone and it is decades later, training is better, tracks are better, shoes are better, and surely I do know this, really good guys do not party , certainly not at the levels from 70's and 80's. Especially great college guys, generally if you do, you will get your lunch eaten regularly.Quincy Wilson a drug cheat? I don't see that, I see a generational talent, they happen.
Everyone at top level dopes, and its worse now than it was in the 80s. Much worse. You obviously dont know anything,if you cant see it. All the top collegians also dope, especially in the sprints and field events in division 1. Thats just the sport. Children cannot run 44.2. Not possible, and i dont care what you say about "generational talents". And regardless of what you say i will never ever change my mind, especially as i know im right. Training shoes and tracks can only improve things so far.
What also makes his performances questionable is his form. It is awful, especially as he nears the end of the race. Reminds me of Amos (yeah, that drug cheat.)
You might wonder why. No one before him has been talented?
Perhaps just never as talented. Prodigies do exist you know.
Its really sad, that many think everyone is dirty, when I know two high profile coaches personally for decades plus that would never, ever coach a dirty athlete, its just who they are, sorry folks and the libelous claims on here are outright offensive, day in and and day out, only because guys are running less than .x off some marks set years and years ago. Its unreal, I could never watch this, if I thought as many guys/gals as some of you think are dirty, were.
I see folks are ready and willing to tear a kid’s accomplishments down without an ounce of proof.
But i give them credit for one thing and thats honesty. They have blatantly stated there is NOTHING that can be done, said, or shown that will change their minds, so it’s a useless debate.
knowing his family background and the times he was running as an 8-9 year old (was he doping then too?) it is HIGHLY unlikely
Some of you act like this just came out of nowhere
this boy is otherworldly material, never seen such crazy times so young.
You might wonder why. No one before him has been talented?
Yes, no one before him has been as talented as he is. Just like many other record holders before him as well.
You and that other guy who derailed this thread to spout vitrol about a 16 year old should be ashamed. Quincy is an incredible athlete and an even better person, a talented, smart, well spoken young man who always puts others before himself. You wouldn't even consider repeating the BS you are saying in person to him - in fact, you cowards wouldn't even dare to approach him. The day you finally catch a ban for your constant, incessant derailing of threads and doping accusations will be one of the best days ever on this site.
In every walk of life, there tends to be improvement over time in our modern world because people study the models of the past and improve upon them. So, we should expect improvement over time where there is a culture that sets high goals. However, some significant proportion of athletes, much higher in certain doping havens, will dope to get there. But that does not mean that we should cast doubt on any and every excellent athlete at any age. Where there is a very strong history of doping, such as Kenya, Eastern Europe, Morocco, expatriates in the Middle East, we should be a lot more suspicious of huge improvements and great performances, but they will happen as well because of maturation, better training and training partners, health, and mindset, and that is why it is so unacceptable to cry doping no matter who or where at every moment.

Actually i WOULD say it to his face. I aint no coward. 16 year olds cannot run 44.2,but you clearly know nothing about athletics,so you dont know that. I also doubt you know him or his family, and you know nothing about them.Someone is doping him,or encouraging him to do it.THAT is the shame, shame on them, not shame on those of us who call out doping, and see things as they really are. A 16 year old phenom would run 46 flat, not 44.2.

No you wouldn't. You are a fat f*ck sitting behind a screen who gets anxious ordering pizza on the phone and stutters when talking to cashiers. I know infinitely more about athletics than you, enough to understand that doping alone is not enough to take a 16 year old to 44.2 - do you even know how doping works, and what it does? Only talent can do that.

I think youve got me confused for you,and youre projecting, and trying to troll me,because you think you can.Too bad it wont work.No skin off my nose, sunshine. You wouldnt know talent if you fell on it,and you only thing you infinitely know(assuming you even know what that means) is how to anonymously troll other users for the thrill of it. .Oh by the way,i dont eat pizza...... :) bless you.

Provide evidence that Quincy is doping. You have nothing? Then yes, you are just another coward like the other idiot.

All top americans are dopers. USA are the real world champions of drug taking in sport, not kenya, not russia. Its part of their sporting culture.Win at all costs mentality. Pity they hide it so well. There will come a day when they wont be able to,and everyone on here will see that im not a nasty troll, after all. oh happy days .

I would be careful with those all statements. They tend to be logical fallacies.

No, it can't. It needs talent + doping. Lance knew that - and so do most top athletes today. There is no pro sport without doping. Quincy is on the ball.
Proving it is the hard part. Just an accusation until you prove it.
Doping is known to be throughout the sport - surveys of athletes indicate possibly 1 in 2 athletes at championship level - yet only 2% of athletes are caught. Probability suggests therefore anyone at that level is doping and yet they are unlikely to be caught.

Dopers are always "nice" people. I've never heard any of them described as nasty. They are just athletes trying to do the best with what they've got, and will do whatever it takes.
