A blessing in disguise for Athing Mu. No way was she going to beat Keely in Paris!!!
Yeah, watching Mu struggle to break 2 minutes earlier this week tells me she wasn't in any sort of shape to be running 1:54's which is what it'll take to beat Hodgkinson this year.
She stepped away from track running to pursue Duathlon fairly seriously - she's only been focussing on the shorter stuff for about a year now and even as late as last December was logging 32 low for 10k on the roads.
Clearly got a monster aerobic base and is now adjusting to the faster track work. Nordas-esque I'd say
Why are we seeing so many falls lately in mid-distance races? Are the fields perhaps too large? Or is everyone so desperate to hug the rail from the word go?
