That 100 was awesome. I feel bad maswanganyi seems to be burnt out, but to see his teammate win itz especially with that hair cut. Awesome. Also, a non SEC runner won it.
Waskom does not have the trials standard, has barely met the trials minimum so far this year, the 3:34 from last year does not count cause it was in June

Doesn’t he get an automatic birth from being team USA last 5k?
The coverage just said 3 teams were DQed but they didn’t know why. It literally says the reason for each one on Flashresults…
And now there is a Protest pending. USC was DQ'ed for "Flagrantly Impeding" so I assume they may be the target of the protest. Just rewatched the video in slow speed and I did not see any contact whatsoever between USC and anyone else. I have no idea what they called.

I think Sahlman is a generational talent and his time will come, like Young. Next year will fast as well with E. Cook who I believe is a Jr., Washington, and Sahlman. I think Reinhardt Harrison has show some promise as well. I certainly don’t want to judge a NCAA middle distance runner, but does Sahlman’s arm carriage seem odd and inefficient when he runs.
Uh oh, here comes another generational talent, who is second best on his team, fourth at nationals, and has odd arm carriage.🤔
