I think it's pretty clear that CDA will score under 20 points at state in 2024 for XC.
CDA is an NXN team that returns lots of guys who are running insane times during indoor, while Boise is going to disappear and it's clear from the results yesterday that Rocky is washed up and won't be in the conversation.
What’s the 5A low score record, at least in relatively recent years?
Probably Rocky last year. Hard to see it getting much lower than that. At least since the classifications were renamed.
I don’t think anyone that is a serious person thought that. At least not since Firman in 22.
I do think that Rocky has a weakness now that Landon is gone. I also think that where there is smoke, there is fire. I do believe that the rumors about the environment over there not being good probably have some basis since runners and parents aren’t hopping on here to defend it like they have in the past.

I’ve only checked back as far as 2016 (Idaho running has come a LONG way since then) and 2022 Rocky scoring 30 was the lowest
Is Rietze 20 seconds behind Carr and Zach on your projections because he didn't spend club money on indoor track this year? Why the sub 15:10 next to Zach and Carr, and then Rietze is only sub 15:30?
NIDP is a pipeline for CHS mostly. NIDP 13-14 year olds took 2nd at Nationals last year.
However, their top two runners will not attend CHS. Miro is a wrestler (One of the best in the nation) and will concentrate on that. Henry will not attend CHS either (Spokane).
Blaise Howard will eventually be a rock star at CHS (Should run high 16's next year) and Morgenstern will be solid as well if he leaves Charter for CHS.
Entries should get published for some meets tomorrow and Thursday.
Rocky publishes entries as they seed them. So far, they are loading up the boys 3200m with Lucas, Tuft, Jensen, Goggins, Clark, Kurtz, and Thomas. Lucas also in the 1600 with Cole Reed, Kurtz and Thomas.
No Heemeyer entered yet, and he didn't race last week. I have a hard time believing that he would go into Arcadia with only one race under his belt.

Weather looks good for this week. Hopefully we can get some boys to start touching 9:20s and 4:10s in the 3200 and 1600 respectively

Tomorrow is a wind tunnel for Eagle and Meridian. Cody Lucas is the only one that has a shot in their meet to do it on Thursday.
