Yet the allegedly doped runners aren't running as fast as Faith. And we have the head of the AIU saying they have track pretty much covered as far as testing, it's the lower rungs of road running where they expect the new wave of busts.
Exactly. I’m sitting here with a Kenyan athletes who tells me how rampant doping is in Kenya. His reaction to Kipyegon not even acting tired was that she is clearly on drugs. This is really hard to watch as a fan of the sport. It’s become a joke. Either get on with the testing or let everyone dope and be done with this circus.

This has more down votes than up. You people are crazy. You think Mu has the tools to run 8 seconds faster than Faith. Or that podcast a couple of years ago with Ritz and Ryan Hall and Webb when ritz and Hall both said they didn't regret going sun 4 because they really didn't have the tools for it.
I think Mu is incredibly talented but she's not close to having the tools to run sub 4.
The crazy thing is with 4:07 Faith just brought 4:00 into the realm of possible. Think of the HS boys with 4:07 prs, who just make/miss 4:00 in the spring. I'm not saying she'll do it, but you can now have the conversation.
Mu would be an example of someone who has talent and potential to do it. The 49/1:55 are necessary elements, BUT she's now a long way off and it would take focus on 1500 and maniacal drive. Let's watch Budapest and Paris before getting way ahead of ourselves.
