The black community encourages this sort of violence, before you come at me with your pitchforks just go listen to literally any black rapper. It's part of the culture.
Because black rappers represent "the black community"? (Whatever that is.)
Just like heavy metal drummers represent "the white community"?
What an idiotic post. Reported.
Your daily confirmation the LetsRun is still a racist-friendly cesspool.

Don’t like it, don’t visit. Censorship is evil. This is one of the few web sites remaining where people can be real.
I know the athlete and the coach of the athlete who was struck. I know coaches at the school of the athlete who threw the punch. The meet was hosted last Saturday in Osceola County, FL.
1. The athlete (puncher) was in the way of the athlete (punchee) on the previous lap of the race shown in video and was yelled at to move. Direct quote unknown.
2. The athlete (puncher) placed himself purposeful in the way a second time and the athlete (punchee) shoved/pushed/moved the other athlete (puncher) off the track while competing.
3. The athlete (puncher) chased down the other athlete (punchee) knocking him down where he hit his knee hard and more importantly his head on the concrete extending from underneath the track (typical of many HS tracks).
4. The athlete (punchee) is currently in a concussion protocol and his family is pursuing the possibility of charges. Extent/viability unknown to me.
5. Athlete's (puncher) head coach also coaches the girls basketball team at the school. They had to forfeit District game due to..... fighting.
6. None of this happens if one of two things happen.
a. Infield is kept clear.
b. Athlete (puncher) simply stays off the track during someone else's race time. 100% avoidable, unnecessary, and regrettable.
The head of the FHSAA Track and Field is aware and reviewing the footage. Unknown if the athlete's (puncher) is conducting any disciplinary action.
I can understand not giving names of minors but can you tell us the two schools involved
I call BS. You’re a poster on letsrun, so you’ve probably never even been near a fight.
Please stop. I grew up in one of the most violent cities in America and went to college in a very rural city that was overwhelmingly Trump. Ive been on letsrun long enough to understand the typical distance runner jokes y’all play but I’m not that. I was fortunate enough to be introduced to different cultures as well, including the letsrun culture but I’m still from where I’m from and I can’t change that
“Overwhelmingly Trump”? You mean rural or a more conservative city / state? If so then statistically you would have been exposed to considerably less violent crime than non-Trump parts of America. Look at the top 10 most violent cities / neighbors in America and see how they voted. For the record, I’m not American and don’t live there, but have in the past in several different cities.

It is pretty clear this was at the Tohopekaliga Tiger Invite on 3/26. Have a look at google maps. Based on the one dnf in the 1600 of a runner that should probably have won … the victim appears to be from Lake Highland Prep.

Also, the uniform colors match up. The puncher’s team could probably be figured out by looking at his uniform and matching it with the attending teams.

The puncher looks to be wearing a Cypress Creek uniform.

the coaches heard that the police did not arrest the aggressor because the incident was deemed mutual combatants ( the mile runner initiated the first contact and the aggressor was just reacting)…
I don't understand this. The punchee only pushed the puncher in the first place because the puncher impeded him on the track. At every step of the way, the puncher was the instigator.
Imagine walking onto a football field while you're not part of the play and interfering with the running back as he makes his way down the field, then using the fact that the running back pushed you as an excuse to punch him later on.
New York post and that running rag from Canada have not investigated this story. They are just repeating the story from the OP on Letsrun. They site local police were called but they don't even know who they are. Now that TMZ sports is involved I hope they give credit to the original video.

Maybe it's fine to shove someone who gets in your way instead of running around them to avoid a conflict, but you probably won't have success pressing charges if the guy you shove decides to punch you.
Horrific!!! Unless the white dude hit was using the “N” word to insult people, there’s no justification whatsoever - even then, if I heard that at the meet, I’d walk off in protest and sue the crap out of the school. Violence begets more stupid violence!
Even if that kid had used the “N” word, which is seriously doubt, the black kid still has no right to attack him during the middle of a race like that. But your “logic,” the utterance of which words would have justified a similar attack by a white kid on a black runner during a race?
The black kid should be permanently banned from competing in track and field and should be suspended from school at a minimum. Perhaps he should also be charged with a hate crime as well.
If I stood in lane 1 during 100 meter race and was pushed by the runner in lane 1....heck ya, I'd definitely run down to the finish line and sucker punch him ;)
if you run track.....you know track "etiquette", especially when a race is going on.
Kid should be expelled for fighting. Has to learn consequences of your actions . if not then it just solidifies the behavior for bigger scenarios to use violence.
He did not finish. He tried to finish but had to stop due to head pain. Not sure if he suffered a concussion but the ambulance and police were called. I was an athlete competing in the mile. Very crazy.
I disagree if your white and use the N word directed at someone that is black you deserve to get the living crap beat out of you.
Deserve? Yes. Racism is evil. But then again, half the criminals in the justice system (any murderers, pedos, etc) deserve death but that's not how our world works. Sometimes you shouldn't do something to someone even if they deserve it.
