First of all, I'm not willing to forgive bad behaviors, I thought I was pretty clear when I stated that at best he was inconsiderate to the other runners behind him.
The debate is about the action being deliberate or accidental . You say "yes" based on assumptions with the main reason being: just because he can...
I say it could be, but most likely "no" because it makes absolutely no sense based on multiple facts.
There were more bottles available on the same table.
His plan to grab only the last bottle was risky at best considering the speed and traffic.
Obviously, with all witnesses and technology, he wasn't going to get away with that move
There was another table of water station just 15meters (under 17yards) down the road
Runners had just gone through their personal bottle just a few minutes before that incident
He only did once the entire race
still 12k to go with no other similar actions (hard to believe he thought only the 30k water table would be enough to disrupt his competition but not the 30k + 16.4 yards)
No other runners in the race complained about being directly affected by that dumbo!
So what was the intentional devious plan about again?
I don't agree with Ghost1 either regarding possible excuses... whether you grew up in Beverly Hills or the french ghetto
is irrelevant if this was intentional.
Again, MOSTLY assumptions in full display in Social Media to vilify a meaningless runner. SAD world we live in!
Peace.
