Blew out another snowshoe today. The sun is burning a slant into all our trails, making for challenging footing.
No boiling tonight so I can sleep, thank God.
5 1/2 miles, and it was tricky: lots of slippery black ice out there this AM. I had to walk a few times for safety's sake.

today: kids athletics. Great fun with mimicking felines and a controlled water-bottle fight...
yesterday: 2x2000m at 6:00 min/mile pace with 2 mins recovery. wanted to do 2 more but ended shorting them at 1200m and 1600m Just dind't want to push it. Cycled to and fro track.
Tomorrow: neighborhood 10K, for tourist purposes... but anything can happen...
No run yesterday. Today, for 42'15"
2KM time trial. Since hitting age 50 I've been struggling, but today I got 10-flat (or sub-8-minute pace). I was very pleased. That may read slug-like to some of you, but if you've had surgery, sciatica, PF and achilles tendonitis you'd understand.
Sunday: sleeping in!!! :)
1200 posts and going strong!!!
10Km local race.
They had a bathrobe with the bib. Which was sort of cool useful gadget.
And, given we are so close to April 1st, and i was feeling a little chilly (late night and less sleep for daylight savings time changeover), a little frilly, i wore it on the run (obviously clipped closed and with shorts)
People kept on making fun asking if i was worried about wasting time getting to the showers and a bunch of other comments.
It was relaxing to laugh running for 42mins.
Everyonce in a while, you just have to have fun.
10 miles easy @ 7:23 pace
Sunday sleeping in?
Gawd!
Today (Sunday) up @ 3:00 AM (as for every other day of the week), then after deliveries done, my run. (after some breakfast & a nap). Today for 36'42" Very slowly, packing a head cold.
Great run today:
it was about 50 degrees in Minneapolis today, which was sweet. There was an icecream truck driving around in a neighborhood i run through. I thought that was funny, i mean its not even April yet! It was nice to wear shorts and a single long sleeve for once. HOWEVER the forcast says we are going to get 6 inches of snow tomorrow... only in Minnesota thanks mother nature!
oh yeah 8 mile run 52:08

Vic, I had a better offer (wink, wink). I love my runs, but there are some things that are just hard (!) to ignore.
3 AM on Sunday morning? Now that's harsh! You're truly dedicated! I wish I had some of your commitment.
Keep up the good work, all! This thread rocks!
