Liz Cheney is admirable because she stood up for what she believed. We can all learn from that. And she did it amidst a party that has sold it's soul to a con-man and liar simply because they see it as a path to power.
Sad.
Sad is you can’t see the duplicity of your party as they lead you around by the nose.
Your man is going to get hung by his balls. Enjoy your loss.
You've hitched your wagon to the worst president in history, by far.
For the most part, only the very dumb are fooled by his lies and deceit. The fact that you can't see that speaks volumes.
Folks, @RepLizCheney / @Liz_Cheney, in one of the most delusional acts ever showcased by a politician, compared herself to Abraham Lincoln and Ulysses S. Grant in a speech delivered after losing an election by 30 points (current).
What a fucking delusional idiot.

Liz Cheney Out. Doug Mastriano, Kari Lake and Hershel Walker in.
lol.
Heck of a job, Republicans. Heck of a job. hahahaha
With more than 95% of the votes counted, Hageman secured greater than 66% of the vote while Cheney was only at 28.9%.
1/6 hearings have not worked out for Liz. She got 70% of the vote in the last election
Unfortunately for her she lives in a state with less people than most suburban counties so its easier for the GQP to control things. Its one house seat in a state with less than 1 million residents.
But to your direct point - 1/6 committee has not worked out for her but it is working out for the country which was the intention in the first place.
domestic oil/gas drilling/XL Pipeline/net exporter of crude/energy independence
Booming GDP/low inflation/low interest rates
Not getting into wars/sending billions to foreign countries
Making NATO countries pay for their own protection
Keeping China, North Korea, Russia from all out flexing their military & threatening/invading other countries.
Not begging dictators for more oil
All of the above with a few mean tweets thrown in and I'm perfectly fine with that and most of America will agree with me. DeSantis will probably be on the same page if he were to win.
Much as one may not like the person, the results were laudable. Biden is a nice enough guy, but he’s pretty much playdoh for the Democrats and has capsized the country with well meaning but fatally flawed legislation.
1/6 committee has not worked out for her but it is working out for the country which was the intention in the first place.
I won't be so very surprised if her role in the 1/6 committee hearings works out very well for her in the longer term. Not that I'm rooting for her to be president, since most of her values conflict with my own, but I have great admiration for the courage she's shown, which earns her an awful lot of respect in my eyes, her personal policies be damned...

How is it helping the nation?
Helping those with insomnia fall to sleep.
Oh wait, that would only work if anyone was actually watching it.

Net worth went from $7 million to over $44 million during her brief time in Congress.

Those that are willing and mentally stable enough to recognize reality know that Trump attempted to circumvent a fair and legal election. Through multiple avenues. But I do admit that the portion of the population that is diluted in Trump/GQP conspiracy illness is larger than expected. But we all know that mental health is a crisis in the US so I guess it should not be that surprising.
The real "delusional idiots" are those who blindly follow the lying election-denier. It is a cult now - like Jim Jones - and they will follow him all the way to their equivalent of Jonestown.

Is that due to courage? Or corruption?
She took the Nancy Pelosi master class of insider trading.

Even Breitbart--which is presumably where you got that "statistic"--is careful to include "possibly" before the $44mm figure. (The estimated range of her wealth is $10mm to $44mm.) But you did not include that "possibly," because your intent was to deceive. Intentional deception is lying. You're a liar.
And, from what I've seen in other posts, an asshoIe. A troll, of course, but also a real asshoIe.

To further your point - none of the Trumpers on this board care if she would have increased her wealth 1000 fold IF she fell inline with their Orange God! Typical Trump triple D approach.
Boasting about her lose is like the Mob boasting about magically missing witnesses. It just further identifies them as criminals.

She'll be in office until the start of January. How do you think this impacts the committee? Does she go on the warpath in the coming months along with the non-reelection seeking Kinzinger or does she stand with her party against the Democrats ruining of the country via the single party legislation they have been able to pass as a result of the Georgia runoff elections. As idiotic as January 6 may have been, the damage it caused pales in comparison to the level of damage legislated by the Democrats over the past two years. I don't particularly care for Trump and his antics, and hope that DeSantis ultimately is the nominee in 2024, but I care for Biden and his handlers far less. My dislike of the Democrats trumps my lack of concern about Trump's antics, as his policies were sound.

Liz was so courageous that she supported a process without cross examination or members supporting an opposing view. It is perhaps vile to conclude, that Liz’s motivation was her support of her father’s wars and deep state roots.

You're lying again. Cheney supported a nonpartisan commission to investigate 1/6, but Trump and the GOP blocked with a senate filibuster.
The bipartisan measure, approved by the House, failed to win enough votes to overcome a GOP filibuster. The plan called for an independent body styled on the one that investigated the 9/11 attacks.
