*Week 389*
Greetings, 50+ers! Sad to say that I'm still not recovered. Apparently, I'm not alone. I've talked with several friends and colleagues, and it seems whatever I've got has been wreaking havoc across the area with many people reporting month-long problems. My digestive track is still all messed up, and now my primary put me on a low dose BP medication (lisinopril) as it's still been pretty elevated as a result of whatever this is. I'm one of the lucky 1:1000 that develops a skin rash as a result of this, so I'm going to ask to go off this. It's been running about 140-145/85 (down from 150+/90). The ears are doing better, still some fluid, but the hearing is back and the tinnitus is reduced, so at least that's something.
November was hence an unplanned month off, though I did get 4 one-hour+ walks in this past week. Hopefully, in December we'll turn things around.
Props to SCgal on a state AG record! Very cool.
The fires in CA makes my heart sad. Sorry for you folks on the west coast. Not a healthy situation even for those who've not been directly impacted by the blazes.
Will look forward to some Turkey Trot results, and hope that those heading to Club XC Nationals in a couple weeks can stay healthy!
Hope to have better news to report soon!
All the Best!
