3 miles in 27:23. Temp. at 28F made this the first night in a long time that sweats were not needed over the lycra. A low crescent of the moon provided enough light to stretch out on a couple of the downhills.
This run was it's own reward.
Enjoy your experience in Rome ,TPCB.
Thank-you driske, if you are in the area and need some local info by all means ask.
Running is going well.
I am trying to find the time to do a premarathon 10x400m at 82-84sec just to get those legs turning but had another funeral today to attend...
Anyway, Sunday should be fun. Just going to be a long run with a number stuck on my singlet. You have to love that one day that you take the whole city back from traffic, work, whatever, and it just belongs to runners and those who understand them...
No running today: donated blood.
Any LETSRUN folks who can, should.
did it. actually 12x400m with 60-70s recovery on the grassy diagonal.

No run today. Cramps have been haunting me the last couple days, not just my legs either. I must be depleted or low on some mineral. Trying banana's, yogurt, sea salt chips all to no avail.
Sorry, for your loss of a running friend and again today.
Carpe Diem, for the rest of us. Easier said than done, when it's close to the heart.
Easy 8 mi. (recovery day). Legs felt decent after the first 2 mi. Hamstring stretches and core work afterward.
driske, actually it was a photojournalist, 38-y-old, died in a motorcycle accident, wife 5-months pregnant with first child. Funeral service was pretty unbearable.
-- Walked barefoot to work. About 50 minutes, great workout.

Yesterday, Wed., no run.
Today, for 39'09" AHR 143 MHR 155.
4 mile LPPM 24:10 on the track
4 mile CT 26:17 (6:35 PPM) on a flat paved trail
3 1/3 miles in some ASCIS 2120 clunkers. Whoa did I feel slow.
Wednesday: 80' easy, lifting, massage (the 'special')
Thursday: 56' over hilly terrain
Friday: 60' tempo, lifting
Keep them coming, gang!
Anyone here minimalist? After yesterday's clunking run I'm thinking about it.
