Anyone else find humor in the irony of a poster who used to whine incessantly about bitter losers trying to overturn an election now showing himself to be a bitter loser trying to argue an election was illegitimate?

Mueller said that there was overwhelming evidence of Trump and Russian collusion but his job was only to uncover it and the DOJ and senate to pursue it. The DOJ responded by Barr redacting anything and everything that showed Trump's involvement with Russia. This is estimated at 30% of the entire report that no one has seen to this day, outside of Barr. Trump then refused to testify, which could have cleared his name. Trump then would not allow white house staff to testify in any way, which could have cleared his name. Trump also smeared and attempted to professionally injure those in the military who tesified under oath of his involvement.
So you are joining the growing number of people who don't trust our system of justice to reveal the truth.
You are spreading non-truths and changing the subject when asked.
Mueller (a republican) said that there was plenty to prosecute but up to the DOJ to do so. The AG was fired and Barr was inserted. Barr hid over 30% of the report. Trump and staff refused to testify in what could clear his name.
Do you trust AG Barr in this situation? Trump?

Presidents operate largely above the law. Trump isn't the first one to dodge an indictment and won't be the last. Impeachment is supposed to be our way of handling crooked presidents.....but it is largely a partisan affair now and needs to be changed.

First of all, nothing is ever ALL. But YES, most politicians are corrupt. I hope you know that.
And this wasn't done in all states, but only in the few counties that they needed to do it. And you only need a few people to get it done. It's not complicated.
Yes, Trump is dumb. He does a lot of dumb stuff. He just passed the stupid pork bill even though the vast majority of his voters didn't want him to. Why, cause politicians are not for the people. You and everyone should know that.
I am glad Trump is out as he isn't an effective leader. But Biden is much worse too, so it doesn't freaking matter.
And you think the Rep Gov who received MILLIONS of dollars from the GOP is way way way more loyal to GA than his own party is funnnnnny!! Money talks man....dang. The GOP doesn't want Trump around, I hope you know that.
So if Trump is ineffective and not many people like him, why is the simple explanation not correct:
He lost the election because he was unpopular.
There is no evidence anyone has presented to supposed the bold claim that this election was stolen. The Amistad project has filed lawsuits all over the country claiming that hundreds of thousands of votes are illegal. They have gotten nowhere.
It is funny that you claim the courts will never interfere with an election as they are the ones who stopped the recount in 2000 and effectively ended the election.
I think you just know nothing favoring Trump will come from this pointless lawsuits so you're trying to divert from the entire process.
You really don't understand the Republican party at all I think. The fact that most all politicians are against should be a GOOD thing in your eyes. Politicians are evil and Biden is at the top of that heap.
The GOP doesn't like him. Bush has constantly gone against him. Neocons have gone against him. Democrats have gone against him. And of course, any swampy politicians have gone against him. I could explain why the globalist Republicans (Rep GA Gov here) and Dem's (Hunter's love affair with Chinese and Ukraine companies) want Trump gone yesterday, but to much typing.
That has NOTHING to do with his base where he is popular. It is very simple.
They, Trump's base, just want America First. That is all. He is the only candidate they trust to push that agenda, even if he sucks at it and caves way too often. But he does just enough to keep them on his side such as the wall and tariffs on China, etc and there just isn't anyone else right now. Maybe the FL Gov in 2024, but who knows, he's a politician so I am sure he sucks booty too eventually.
They don't care that he is arrogant, not always presidential, tweets like it's his BDAY every dang day. That is secondary.
They just want someone to finally stop the shipping of jobs overseas, millions of immigrants (which hurts black people the most), border control etc.
Why people don't understand that, I just don't know.
And you really don't understand the courts if you think that the issue is the lack of evidence. and Bush vs Gore is what Trump was hoping for, but this is a much different animal. The courts are not going to rule when they believe this is a legislative matter. Listen to some actual lawyers talk about this issue. They can explain it very well. This isn't my opinion, but one that I have come to understand during this process.
The evidence is in the voting lists vs who is legal to vote in that state. Not complicated. But it won't be changed and Biden will be sworn in. Even though it was stolen. Oh well. America.

Seriously. Don't people understand that when you are at the Clinton's, Obama, Trumps level, you are above going to jail.
That is a whole different level of justice which is different than the common person.
Sitting President's don't go to jail. Everyone who doesn't know that, did you have your blue pill this morning with your coffee?

I see you've bought the populist party line all the way down.
Fair enough, I've seen it a lot.
Trump has done nothing you said. All his attempts, like trade wars, just hurt American producers. Immigration is good. There is no evidence that immigration hurts wages for >95% of Americans and inconclusive evidence for the remaining 5%.
If the evidence wasn't complicated and was obvious -- maybe something would have happened.
Trump had 4 years to get everything in order and couldn't even rig the election for himself. Ouch baby.
You seem to be very much a "feelings over facts" dude, which is fine...
Lol at the contention that someone trying to paint a false narrative of a stolen election, to destroy our democratic process, to be “America First”.

Thanks for your input and I agree. Mine was a response to the seemingly endless Trumpers rhetoric of "the Mueller report turned up nothing." We have never seen the incriminating parts and that came from the republican that compiled and wrote the report.

You don’t see how planting a false narrative of a stolen election is anti-American to the extreme?

These are questions we should be talking about:

3. Is election fraud investigated and punished?

Read the first 50 pages before 'starting the discussion'. You've got nothing. Rudy's got nothing. Trump's got nothing. Better luck next time.

All I have given in this tread if facts. None are my feelings. Don't know what you are talking about.
I believe in helping my family, community and country before having Army bases all over the world and sending money to every country known to man for gender studies or making sure the border in the Sudan is fortified (that was full of irony there).
I could give you facts that show you immigration is the main reason why the purchasing power of the average American hasn't increased since just after the Immigration act in the 60's. But I am sure you will ignore it. But there are also other factor like wellfare, blah blah blah.
I believe in a lot lot less gov as all they do is mostly steal your money. Why else is Biden so dang wealthy yet working a Gov job. I am sure he is just such a hard worker on his Gov job.
But I am just explaining to you why people like Trump and not why I like him. I think he did a billion things wrong, but his policies were mostly in the right place.
Globalist ideas will ruin this country. And from the riots this year, we are well on our way.
Doesn't change the fact the election was stolen. Look at the voters roles. I am sure you won't as everyone will just say, no evidence. And the Amistad Project and others can't get anywhere due to what I said to you before, they throw it out due to standing or too late, not due to evidence. The evidence is there overwhelmingly.

The 50+ pages of this thread have proven otherwise.
OK. I am going to push forward with just Johnny99 and Harambe.
Welcome to the first and last civil political internet discussion!
The concept is simple. My goal is not to convince you it was stolen, but to show you why so many people are convinced it was, which is a really bad thing for our country. In doing so I will constantly be asking you to try to see how "the other side" would see what I am showing you.
For example: George Floydd dies with a cop's knee on his neck. Black people see this as an example of systemic deadly police abuse... and they proceed, along with sympathetic whites, to terrorize the country, looting and burning entire cities in protest of systemic racial injustice. I look at the national numbers and see that only ~10 unarmed blacks were killed by cops in a year, and ~20 unarmed whites were killed the same year. I DO NOT see a systemic nation wide problem of cops hunting and killing blacks that in any way can justify the violent response. The numbers don't support it, but I DO SEE how people can watch the video and be convinced that a much larger problem exists than simply one cop doing something horrible. I understand the other side.
I will be asking you to understand my side. There's very little of that happening now.
I have no power to enforce anything here, but I propose these ground rules to keep people like agip from destroying the discussion.
1. I will only be responding to the two of you. You two can do whatever you want but don't expect me to address anything from anyone else.
2. Stay civil. Insults are fine as long as they are clever or funny.
That's all. Let's see if we can make internet history.
Now I have to choose something from the volcano of evidence to present first. Let me think ...

Surely if there was something Trump could fund the right lawyers to get the right cases in the right place to bring this to light? Or pay off some legislatures with all the money he's raised since the election??
None of this is remotely compelling compared to the simple truth: Trump was unpopular and got outvoted!
P.S. I would LOVE to see how immigration caused a decline in purchasing power. There is pretty strong evidence immigration is very, very important to US economy now. (We are not a population replacement without immigration. Do you want to turn into Japan in the 90s?)
PPS. The US has always been globalist. Trading with the world. Accepting immigrants from all over. That is what made us a super power. Pretty dumb to give that up b/c brown people seem scary!

There is plenty of evidence of systemic injustices in the criminal justice system. Looking only at a few deaths/year is willfully trying to ignore the issue:
https://www.ussc.gov/research/research-reports/demographic-differences-sentencingI find it hard to believe you are operating in good faith if you immediately jump on anti-George-Floyd stuff out of left field. Or you are just a dumb boomer (it is hard to tell the difference these days).
Gary doesn’t see a problem of bad police officers not being held accountable. Or he does and he tries to distract by creating a straw man argument that people are only upset about police killing unarmed black men, to obfuscate.
White people outnumber black people 5:1 but are killed by police while unarmed only 2:1 (by your numbers). To say nothing of the fact that your numbers lack the nuance of "armed" people of color that weren't really a threat but were killed anyway, or number of white armed people that were successfully taken into custody without killing them. Or the much higher incarceration rates for black people. Or the school to prison pipeline. Or redlining neighborhoods. I assume your debate brilliance will hinge mightily on the act of simplistic observance of 2 numbers and claiming you've done a rational, logical statistical analysis based on those two numbers.
Trump supporters believe fraud happened because Trump says it did. And no matter how much that man lies, for some reason Trump supporters continue to believe everyything he says. You're working your way backwards from their to justify what he's said. Good luck.
