65' of dodging raindrops, but felt great. Cool and somewhat raw, but still ran in the shorts. I'm ready for spring!
TPCB, good luck with your 10K!
7 miles in the increasingly heavy rain.
an easy 12 miles with friends, first 7 miles really easy (7:30) pace, picked it up to 6:20 to 6:40 pace for the last 5.
12 miles in snow and ice. Legs tired.
Today, for 37:06. Steady pace, picked it up for last 1 km.
AHR 140 MHR 158.
No running, probably for at least 2 days: my cellar got flooded by all the damned rain up here in New England yesterday: up to 3.7" in some places, which, if the temps had been cold enough, would've amounted to over 3 feet of snow. Incredible amounts of water yesterday into last PM.
I've had enough of March.
I'd have preferred snow, seriously. I can shovel snow, can't shovel water.
Going to be a LONG year, I can see it coming...
Today 10K (first time on this course in Ladispoli on the outskirts of Rome. Was told it was particularly accurate)
Ran in my Vibram 5Fs
38:47, placed 106 out of 1078
Won three pairs of socks.
I laughed so hard.
Maybe the best position thus far in a 10K.
Felt good at the end. No injury, no pain.
Dry socks are a GOOD thing.
76 min progression run on treadmill yesterday. None today.
For 30'20" today.
AHR 142 MHR 157
Block run, good finish uphill.
Day off, slept in. Only 23 hours today, so I'm making the most of them. :-)
6.7 mi. on ridge. early morning, cold.
15.52 miles in 1:44:25 (6:43 pace) on the beautiful trails of Eugene
It's Labour Day today here in Victoria. Got out the door pretty late this morning and temps were already in the 30s (90ish farenheit)and not a cloud to be seen. Cruised out along the forest road for the first 3k then across the highway and onto rolling forest trails. No one around except a few eastern grey k'roos, swamp wallabies, a couple of echidnas a few snakes, a goanna and the usual array of bird life. Slotted into a pleasant rhythm working up and down the hills at around 4.30-5.00 per km pace. After an hour of running I reached a dirt road and followed it into town then over the creek and back home. A pleasant 78mins/16ish kms.
a rainy 56' on Saturday....off Sunday....36' this am...chilly and dark again...may be time to move to evening runs with daylight savings upon us
Today,for 42'31" including a 3 min. jog cooldown.
9.5 on levee. nice weather. 1:15
32' yesterday afternoon
That being, my run;
For 31'17" Before physio. AHR 140 MHR 150.
