I think top five would be a nice result for Noonan. I suppose he could finish higher but everything has to fall in place. Remember, he's only a junior.
Combined girls (when not cut down to 20 teams) JSerra 160 Santiago Corona 161 Buchanan 171 Trabuco Hills 228 Ventura 337 Cathedral Catholic 427 Whitney 451
Combined boys (when not cut down to 20 teams) San Clemente 130 Dana Hills 155 Great Oak 266 Oakdale 286 Trabuco Hills 316 Palisades Charter 359 Santa Barbara 434
Great Oak is ahead of Oakdale is the overall merge. I think for NXN considerations, they then take the top 20 teams or so from this and rescore. I could be wrong though
That’s what everyone has said (as to how they rescore the merge).
I’m wondering how the overall merge results compare with “the merge” results. Will Buchanan leapfrog JSerra and Santiago? All three are close. I would hope all three get in to NXN.

Great Oak and Oakdale seem pretty close.
G.O.’s 5th runner placed 160th, 15:51, and Oakdale’s 5th placed 234, 16:05 in the combined boys results. Their top fours are very close. Like last year Oakdale 5th hurts them.
When the power merge comes out will Oakdale be able to pickup 50+ spots?
With less teams In the power merge this may be possible.
I hope like last year they take 4 teams from California.
Ventura girls team 5th in the merge, far behind 4th

The problem with Matt Hammel. He’s causing divide between the teams and coaches. This is why Cruz left. Matt is a strange guy as he’s on the spectrum. She is very awkward to the parents , kids and coaches. A complete cancer of a person
