what people don't understand is that 10 minute miling in multiday is super world class. They just go "meh, piece of p*ss, I can do them. And I would do them off 110s too."
The 100s to 110s of WG are impossible, all but no-one is saying they're real, they're saying "tech fail".
But it's the biggest tech fail is running history. No-one has failed with their tech so much, for such a long period, with so many different watches, at very precise events and in precisely the same manner as their business partner who did the Transcon first.
But the Ultraworld is supposed to accept all this, take our hats off to WG and welcome a new superstar into the ranks.
The four quarters of his run yesterday were:
3:05
3:19
3:06
3:15
It's just all so seamless. Ultra and multiday running simply doesn't work like this. Never has done, never will. If we had a heart rate to see what was going on that would give some insight. But neither he nor Balenger return human heart rates for their big multiday fundraisers more than 10% of the time according to the report. Who knows why.
