Serious answer, who says he won't? He hasn't run London. That's not the same as saying he won't run London.
His first marathon was the US Olympic trials. Obviously that wasn't compatible with running London. Next spring he ran Boston. Okay, he *could* have run London, but I'm sure Boston made a better offer and who can blame him? He did well. Really well. So he could go to London and get pounded or he could run Boston again, fresh off of his Chicago victory, and try for the win there.
Sure, I'd like to see him run London, but there's still time to do so in the future and his marathon choices are perfectly reasonable. Geb avoided London, preferring to time trial Dubai. Rupp is running a different major.
