You could learn more from just reading a messageboard with someone on the lead truck giving you splits every mile.
Um yeah.. but you might actually want to see the race..
Is it United Airlines' fault for the poor race footage?

this
Ha ha ha. Our man did great. He let that stupid Scot do all the hard work and drafted perfectly. Then he SPRUNG out and PROPELLED himself away at the end. Well done Lelisa we know he can use this as SPRINGBOARD to greater things. #breaking2 #breakingrules
joking aside....If these shoes do give a 4% advantage then Hawkins did great.

I know right. Close to Hawkins PB on a tougher course.
Derrick passed on world cross for this? Not very American, if you ask me.
At least he'll make the 10k team for London (insert sarcasm here)

Although great story for Lelisa. Just saw the interview and the shite he has had to go through with his family put's things into perspective.

You think you are clever??? You are exposing yourself to be a fool.
A guy moves to #7 all-time in US history and you are mocking his performance? Derrick almost broke Meb K's PR today. Meb's PR is 61:00.

Isn't it kind of the opposite?
His people are being slaughtered? Generally, in life, oppressed minorities are allowed to protest. Majorities not so much.
Thank you Rojo.

A running race is just as exciting as a soccer match, baseball game, boxing match, etc.
Sometimes there is only one big break or deciding moment. Other times its back and forth. Sometimes its a blowout.
There were at least 5 different leaders in the men's race today, with numerous lead changes. Lead packs of over 5 runners in both races today past halfway.
In both races it came down to the final seconds.
IMO, the TV coverage was much better than the LRC thread today.
Tilastopaja lists Khanouchi's best American time as 60:28
Go to All Time Half Marathon List and then click AREA North America.
I would Post, but he has said not to copy and paste off his site, or risk forfeiting subscription.

Fans:
We need to "unite" as a fan group, get a hold of as many of the Masbacks, Liquoris, Hutchinsons, Reavis's, Stones. BroJos, Sundlun, Rawson as we can---in order to really get the "network's" attention. THEY can go to the networks as one, get their attention, and train them on making telecasts of running events what they should be. Let's fix the problems with running telecasts in the US now. Not a joke. Watching these events on the only available medium is so frustrating. It is possible to produce telecasts to maintain interest from both the casual fan and the elite knowledgeable fans at the same time. The needed Major Changes are easy and do-able.
Note to BroJos: I would be willing to help--for NOTHING! Get in touch with me.

Why are you such an idiot? Total idiot. I wonder what it is like to walk around every day with your level of stupid. It must be totally overwhelming for you. How sad.
Callum Hawkins 60.08 according to the twittersphere (since no-one has posted any actual times)
